    Thank you for this video. I know someone considering FAU, and from seeing another video where the girls were kind of wild and vulgar, it didn't represent what the school has to offer very well, this video is much more reassuring and informative.

    I really wouldn't consider 20,000+ on 850 acres at the Boca campus as super small. 4,000+ living on campus. 30,000+ total enrollment. 850 acres is not small. I'm an FAU grad from a very long time ago. We had our parties but we were never considered a party school. Back then we were only juniors, seniors and grad students so everyone had gotten the BIG partying out of their system by the time they got to FAU as a junior. The number of people living on campus was much smaller then but it was fun. We did have parties though. All the dorms were on the same side of campus together. It was like living in a small city. All those dorms have been torn down except for I think Algonquin which is where I lived. That was considered the "party dorm". You can't beat a campus so closed to the ocean. Lots of guys scuba dived when I was there and you could get certified on campus though the YMCA (back then anyway) and surfing was popular.

    First of all, thank you for your helpful information!!! I have though some questions that I want to ask you: 1)What other sports are there in FAU(is there a mens volleyball team)? 2)What kind of gpa do you need to enter FAU plus SAT score? 3)For example, I want to become a paediatric doctor(I am just a sophomore in high school so I don't know what I need to follow to become a paediatric doctor) are there courses that you can take to become one? 4)I am Greek and my question is are there Greek kids over there?"

  • @KaylaRamn

    @KaylaRamn

    6 жыл бұрын

    You’re welcome! And for sports there is no men’s volleyball team but we have volleyball courts to play on! The men’s sports we have are basketball, baseball, cross country, soccer, football, golf, swimming, and tennis. As for GPA + SAT, I got accepted with a 3.7 gpa and a 1150 on my sat. As for programs, there is a nursing program I know a lot of people do at FAU which seems like something good for your occupational concentration. I know a couple other Greeks but FAU is one of the most diverse schools in Florida so I’m sure there is a lot more than I know of!

    Kayla Ramn Thank you so for replying!! Hmm, I might try swimming. Though, I can still go for example at those courts and practice by myself if I wanted right? Yess!!Most likely then I have a great chance of getting accepted too(3.9 average GPA at this point of time, though I am scared for the SAT :( ). The only problem is that I am not 100% that that nursing program can make me a doctor...., though when that time comes, I will try to search it up more. As for the Greeks, that's good to hear! :) I want so much to become a part of this university!! :)

    Hi! I attend a community college down in Miami and I'm planning on getting my AA and then transferring to either Fiu or Fau. I'm leaning more towards Fau so my question for you is: Is it all that much different transferring in your junior year than starting as a freshman? or is it all pretty much the same?

  • @KaylaRamn

    @KaylaRamn

    Hi love! I don’t have personal experience to speak from but transferring over your junior year should be a smooth process and similar to starting as a freshman! I know plenty of people who transferred to fau in their second or third year and it was pretty easy!

    I'm surprised they even still get enrollments considering all the information is free on the internet and so on lmao. I say this at 24 with 2 engineering degrees under my belt. I wouldn't go to any florida college tbh unless I'm just paying for 1 year and just want to completely fuck around for no reason whatsoever, they make so much money for pretty much nothing.
