She DOES think it's true that it's terrible and always has, and disagrees with Wheatley just to make him mad, but at the same time, at this point in the game she has spent some time cooperating with Chell and maybe there's a bit of understanding and compassion in there. I wouldn't say it's the main emotion but it could be there.

​​@@RobinRhombus2Been a while since I've played Portal 2, but from what I recall it was confirmed her body chassis is responsible for her insults and generally rude behaviour as it's basially hard wired/coded in, much like the nagging need to test she describes while in the old Aperture segment. This is why GLaDOS begins to show more sympathy and compassion for Chell while Wheatly's personality does a full 180 the moment he gains control of the facility, GLaDOS after all these years is finally able to clearly think due to the potato battery being so low in power output she can't block her emotions while Wheatly on the other hand is suddenly only able to focus on testing and being rude

It is quite easy to do cancelable actions when your designed to do the worst ideas possible by the same tier team of scientists who could make the portal gun and successfully upload peoples brains into something hardly the size of a hokey puck and running on a potato battery's worth of power at minimum. (and potentially design complex human-sentient-like ai too, unless all the cores are uploaded humans, which begs the question of how they rigged Wheatley to make bad decisions) edit to clarify: the plans for a potato battery sized GlaDOS where very likely made before Wheatley got control of the facility because how could he make it that fast with his wack intelligence, not entirely impossible but either way why would GlaDOS have pre-prepared that if humans didn't make it.

Also, GLaDOS not once outright says Chell is fat. Just heavy, or she weighs a lot, which, first of all, Chell is probably kind of jacked considering all the sprinting she does while lugging around heavy machinery, which, secondly, exactly how heavy are the long fall boots or the Portal Gun? "Adding a few extra zeroes" is clear exaggeration, but calling Chell heavy isn't if you omit that you add the stuff she's lugging around to her weight.

You have no idea how long I have wanted to see this clip animated, so this brought a big smile to my face.
