It is a shame that our women are still dying of breast cancer in these times! My wife has a history of breast tumors like her two sisters but have always been benign rather than malignant thank God. But they always do a biopsy and we live in suspense until the results come back as noncancerous.

The older I get the more I find the dad attractive 😂😂

Rest in peace, Kelly Preston. This was one of my favorite movies.

My dad passed away yesterday at the age of 70. This was one of my childhood favorite movies and over the years I’d catch him watching it by himself. This year I decided to bring it up to him and he said “yeah, I like that movie because the father in it gave up his old life to be a dad instead”. This movie will always mean a little more to me because of my dad. 🙏🏼

Rest In Peace Kelly Preston. 2020. I knew I remembered her from a specific movie. This one and Jack Frost were my favorites.

Combat Marine of 6 tours, and I don't cry at anything, but I ball at this scene, because my daughter REFUSE to speak to me because I was in combat during their high school years. For that, their mother filled their head with hate and told them I hated them and that's why I went to combat. Who could do that, and my daughters have made it quite clear, THEY HOPE I DIE. Worse part is when I cam home on my last tour, I was shot 6 times in my right leg, thinking it was no big deal, I'll recover. Well, it seems I have the same leukemia that took my sisters life at 10 when I was 8. And when my physicians contacted them on my behalf, their response was HE CANNOT DIE FAST ENOUGH. I told my family not to hate them because as they get older, they will see what pain they caused, and I don't want them to hate themselves for this silly mistake. Of course I still LOVE them and always will. Merry Christmas and I'll see you again on this side or the other.

I can only imagine how devastating it's been for you on your end. My mother was a very hateful and malicious individual herself, so I have my own understanding of what it's like to undergo that kind of mental and emotional abuse and the unspeakably horrible effects that it can have on everyone involved. I sincerely hope that you get the closure and the peace that you deserve.

Is anyone watch in 2019? I really love this movie.

I have a 5 year old daughter and that daddy daughter bond is something only the two of them will understand. I'm screwed... But it's awesome.

If only I can have that father-daughter dance, but sadly he passed away two years ago. I’ll dance with him in spirit. But at least I got to dance with him at least once years ago and that was good enough for my peace of mind.

It´s so sad to see how her life went downhill :( She was really gorgeous.

for all fathers n daughthers in the world, i suggest u watch this movie. this movie aired at my country one week ago (Malaysia, Jun 2023) n it really touched my heart n shed tears. Although this movie was 12 years ago, i still love to watch it. Everytime i see amanda's face during her teen, i will miss my daughter so much. Happy Father Day all although date has passed.
