I’m so sorry Mr.Schilling. Justin seems like a wonderful kid. You did good. I hope you eventually manage to find a sliver of the peace you hoped for later in life.

The juries were wrong in convicting these parents. Yes, the justice system in America is messed up.Jailing these two will do nothing to prevent future gun violence. You know it, I know it, the prosecution knows it and most likely the parents of the victims know it. There is still one or more firearms under the same roof as one or two potentially mentally ill teenagers in one out of every two households in the US. That means one out of every two households in America is providing free access to guns to at least one child or more. That is a cold hard fact in our country that will NEVER be addressed. We all know it. Our justice system is completely ineffective.

Rest in peace, Justin. You were a victim of negligence and lack of good parenting by the Crumbleys. Jennifer sounds like a sociopath. Her husband isn't better.

Mr. Schilling, you spoke so eloquently. I, unfornately, have also suffered losses. It was my 90 year old grandmother who said it best. Time doesn't heal, you just learn to cope with your loss better.

my absolute love, energies, and respect to this man and his fallen son. his son was stolen the one life he had! and his father was, too. may my God run with him in Paradise right now and forever!!!!! and may He protect all further victims in mass shootings. coming from a human trafficking survivor, and kidnapping and homicide survivor (the only one who survived), my heart is absolutely with you sir!!!! i love you and your family. genuinely.

Too bad people could not have been quiet and still during his statement. Very disrespectful.
