His daughter is Jill, who was once Bill.

I met my dad in 1995 when I was 35....and 9 brothers and sisters I didn't know I had(all half siblings). We had a long hug too, and tears. We lived 4 hours apart all that time. He drove a logging truck, and had driven by my home many times. He said "There was a black lab that would lay out on the highway in the sun, and she wouldn't move for anything, just sat there wagging her tail, so I would honk at her". That was my dog, and I remember yelling at my dog to get off the road when I heard the truck horn.

Not true - He abandoned her for her whole life, then picked it up, so so late in life - only when it suited him. It's sad she agreed to even meet this so called 'dad' - he's a user (again).

I love how both thought in a similar way to mark the occasion. The father celebrated her important birthdays with cards & gifts they missed. The daughter with a photo album with all her important birthdays. ☺

Damn I'm crying he seems so excited to meet his daughter. I feel bad he missed so much of her life but they still have many more years to make up for it. Congratulations to them how heart warming!!

buggy627 he passed away 14 days after this was filmed and it turned out she wasnt really his daughter but he was going senile and believed it. She milked him of thousands of dollars within those days and even afterwards through credit card fraud.

The King Rap Collection thought they did a DNA test which proved it was his daughter sad he passed couple weeks after filming this documentary

I was adopted out when I was a newborn.So was my sister just younger than me.We have the same birth mother.But different dad's.We were adopted into the same family.Our adopted parents have been very good to us.Our dad died four and a half years ago.We still have our mom.

One of my neighbors did that. Another neighbor's daughter had dumped her baby on him, signed over her parental rights to him and he found out he was dying of lung cancer when he was around 2. He knew they did foster care and asked them if they were interested in adopting because he wanted to know his grandson was in good hands. They did. Five years after the birth mother asks them if they would adopt another child, a girl, biracial and obviously a different father. They took her without hesitation since they felt it important he knew his bio half sister at least.

If you had a real family, you would know your dad and mom very well

I was adopted. I didn't meet my birth parents until I was 21 years old. Until then I had no idea who I was or where I came from. I had an immediate connection with them. I finally met people who looked like me. I even had some of the same mannerisms as my dad. Knowing them gave me a sense of belonging I never had before. I also got to meet my 7 brothers and three sisters. I love them all.

I'm happy you found your biological parents. If I may ask, were your adoptive parents hurt or supportive of your desire to search for them? I hope they were supportive, and that you're still close to the family that raised you.

I'm glad she found her father what a future the two can have together

So happy for her better late then never. Lost my Dad when I was 2 1/2 .
