Same. My dad was killed a month before my 5th bday. But I do have great memories- one is of a Halloween party, where I was Jem (from jem and the holagrams) and a memory of my dad and I silly stringing an abandoned school that was in our neighborhood. I remember my dad slamming my fingers accidentally in the car door..🤣😂🤦🏻‍♀️ that must have hurt if I still remember that!! lol. And a few other snippets of memories..and yes those memories I hold so close and dear to my heart as well, Not even the devil himself could take that from me(God willing) girls NEED dads! I know I needed mine at this girls age..I think that’s when as young women we need our dads more than ever- they set the precedent for what we, their daughters, will or won’t tolerate in a relationship, or marriage. I had no positive male role model as a teen, that could guide me, without being a complete creep, or perv. I was hurt so many times,let down so many times..by men,men who should be protecting the fatherless,orphaned or widows..men are supposed to protect those of us in those circumstances-not take advantage of us, like so many do..😢 dads! We need you!!! ❤️❤️🙏💕
