You can detect if a shark is in the water with a spoon. Step1: Scoop some of the water up in the spoon. Step2: Put the spoon in your mouth and taste the water. If the water tastes salty......there are most likely sharks in the water. Leave that area and visit a local pool instead.

God blessed them both that fateful day! Aww this story touched my heart & terrified me at the same time. This DOES GO TO SHOW that people need to stop referring to these Whites as mindless killing machines they are incredibly intelligent animals. The ONLY shark species that “spy hops” meaning it knows where a humans sight ends think about the breaches on ppl kite surfing Bc these sharks are also watching above water they are fuggin smart man.

Start hunting sharks again - install machine gun on helicopter , start patrolling areas where people swim and get rid off sharks big enough to attack humans . sharks are useless anyway . hunting sharks instills fear of humans in sharks and that is also additional deterrent hunt sharks like decades ago it saved people and got rid off shark overpopulation . it is logical solution That's how it is done- Great whites, bull sharks, and tiger sharks are not essential components of the environment. There are hundreds of other shark species capable of fulfilling the roles of these large predators. It's important to avoid perpetuating misleading information promoted by the environmental industry, which profits from well-intentioned but gullible individuals. The second case reminds me of what happened to a buddy of mine the way he was slammed out of the water. My friend is a kite sailor, but it was a windless day. He rented a paddle board and went out on the bay. It was so calm he took a nap. He woke when a bull shark hit the board from underneath and threw him he said 10 feet in the air. He swam back to the board without being hit again. He had a radio and called for rescue. His paddle was drifting away. Security picked him up and took him to the hospital where he was treated for shock.

When they mentioned the bull shark I was hoping they'd mention the 1916 attacks in inland New Jersey and glad they did. Truly the stuff of nightmares. I recently read a book about the attacks called 12 Days of Terror. Great book that recounts the horrific events. This was a time period in history where people still didn't believe sharks posed any threat to humans, and even the scientific "experts" of the day couldn't fathom that sharks would ever attack a human, even going so far as one scientist saying it was impossible for a shark to sever a man's leg. The 1916 Jersey Shore attacks definitely changed the stance of scientists on the dangers of sharks towards humans, no matter how rare they may be.

Flamey45 It’s not their show... I shouldn’t be alive stopped making the show a long time ago, it was canceled, this channel just uploads old episodes which you can find online so Idky you’re waiting on them to upload them. This channel doesn’t own any of the content it puts out, they’re all old episodes from different shows, they just put their name/logo on the thumbnail, that’s it.

I do not understand the point of this comment>? They are in fact the ultimate killing machine and its not like the guy was under there hunting a shark that day so again whats the point of this comment. I think everyone knows that sharks are targeted and should be left alone but to make this comment on this video is a bit dumb. I could understand if the man was shark hunting and was almost killed but he was doing the opposite just seems odd to say that here.

@@sinfulways1492 what makes you say they are in fact the ultimate killing machine? when humans kill an incomprehensible amount more? i understand that he wasn't "shark hunting" but i mean, he did invade the sharks environment (not that there's anything wrong with swimming in the ocean, it's my favorite place to be) and the shark had no reason to think that he wasn't dangerous since humans kill millions of sharks a year... and either way, the shark didn't know he was a human. the human was in the habitat in which the sharks' prey lives while humans do not live there, and was just trying to eat. great whites don't even return to the human after they bite and realize that they are in fact human. great whites hate the taste and swim away. he only bit because there was no reason for him not to think it was a seal or sea turtle that he normally eats!

@@juliademarjian4915 The Great White is one of natures greatest hunters. Everything about them says predator just like the Crocodile. I never said humans were angels and not cruel to nature. My point is why leave a comment like that on a survival video where a man crossed paths with a shark and luckily lived>? That comment you left should be left on a video where it shows people eating shark fin soup not a survival video. Plus what we taste like to them means nothing because instinct drives them to be curious and attack. They are so powerful even the curious bite can kill so again not sure what your point is.
