Technically not the first king since his father was a king before him but the epic of gilgamesh is the oldest recorded piece of literature

Well now that lancer got his identity revealed as the semi-mythical Irish knight Dirmund! I shall tell a bit of his story: He was a honorable knight who fell in love with his lords wife I believe and as such his lord sent him in impossible quests to make him die and end their little affair…the problem is that dirmund always came back victorious…sadly his story doesn’t have a happy ending. Also you may have realized that Caster is actually French noble knight turned occultist serial killer Gilles De Rays who fought side by side with Jeanne d’arc who apparently in this universe has an uncanny resemblance to King Arthur! The servants whose identity have been so far reavealed are >Alexander the Great/iskandar! >the king of knights Arthur pendragon!(in this fictional work it’s a woman) >the king of kings and the first recorded hero: King Gilgamesh of Ur! >the Irish knight Dirmund! >the brotherhood of assasins represented by master assassin Hassan of the order of Masyaf >Gilles De Rays the French noble knight from the 100 years war who became an occultist serial killer of children in his desperate search for occult knowledge!(it hasn’t been fully revealed yet but all of his commentaries are so in the face on who he is that id feel bad if I didn’t told you about it) I do know who berserker is so if you guys don’t mind this spoiler feel free to ask!

The berserker is lancelot, the strongest knight under king Arthur's leadership, when king Arthur died he fell into depression which caused him to become a berserker, just rewatching this episode

@@randomanimeaddict123 lancelot originally had a white armor(accord to fandom and fate wiki he also had the title of "the white knight") but the lancelot that we see as a berserker is wearing a black armor with a helmet that covers his entire body He also doesn't use ardonight(ardonit? I am bad at spelling names i know) so with the armor and the lack of holy sword not to mention a helmet that conceals his identity there is no reason artoria would recognize him

Oh yea about gilgamesh, he's the legendary figure in the 1600 if I remember right, he came from the legendary story with is titled as "the epic of gilgamesh" which tells his journey of how he became king alongside his only friend, he builded uruk which is the first city if I remember and made ishtar the God of lust fell in love to him and he denied ishtar's request to have seggs with her which surprised her, also he's known as "the man who saw everything".

Apparently, in this universe, Saberface is canon. Saberface is an internet meme contributed by Type Moon, the creators of the Fate franchise. Saberface is just any character that looks like the female King Arthur. In other words, in this universe, King Arthur, Joan of Arc, Okita Souji of the Shinsengumi, Mordred "son" of King Arthur, looks almost exactly alike.

Technically he is not the oldest. Noah is a servant and we know the flood precedes the first recorded civilisations like mesopotimia but the fact that the epic of gilgamesh itself is the oldest recorded piece of literature is what gives gilgamesh his originality

Ea can't destroy anything. It's power output is comparable to sealed Excalibur. It's focus is on being an anti world phantasm. Meaning Anti reality marble and conceptual space decayer. It doesn't mean he is planet buster.

I can't believe I went from hating Gilgamesh in Fate/Zero, Stay/Night... to him being one of my favourite characters ever after watching Fate/Grand order:Babylonia😂 he the real King of Heroes!

SPOILER ALERT, READ ON YOUR OWN ACCORD - Saber's name are Artoria Pendragon. - assasin is actually Assasins as in many, and not just an Assasin - Caster Gilles De Rais become like that after Jeanne D Arc got executed, in hope of occultist power, he wishes to meet with Jeanne once more, and in fate universe he were told as The Most Loyal Knight of Jeanne and the most to object of Jeanne Execution, and he's actually a saber if he got summoned from the timeline where jeanne havent/doesnt get exexcuted. . . . . . . . . - Berserker Is Lancelot, he's becoming like that after Artoria banished him from the round knight because of his affair with Artoria's Queen Gunivierre comes to light (she does it in order to show to her objects that she's a man in litteral sense and to carry one of her duties as a king and royal, wich is to have a queen) , but despite the fact that he's banished, Artoria also Forgive Him thus make him feel deep guilts, after Artoria Died in battle (the last battle of camelot, wich lancelot wished to participate but then rejected harshly by gawain out of his hatred for him because he killed gawain's brothers) and Lancelot got the wind of it, his guilts got the best of him and driven him mad, thats why when he's summoned he got the berserker class, while the normal Lancelot would Got Summoned as a Saber, oh and about his roar, he actually didnt just shouting madly roar, But he's shouting part of Artoria's Name, so instead of this "Aaarrrggghhhhhh" Or "Rrraaaaaggghhhh" Its actualy "Aaaa-------urr"

@@ItachiUchiha-ih2zw kiritsugu used it for catalyst and for his own benefits. A full powered Saber has Avalon, add the Excalibur seals released and it's an overkill for a HGW. But just like you said, she cannot have it by normal means.

@@iberusalliumford6174 stop the wank, Fate route shows us Saber>Gil. Excalibur is more than enough to kill Gilgamesh, he's not invincible.. UBW loses against Shirou and Heaven's Feel he became food. And you're mistaking Avalon for a turtle shell, it's the most powerful defensive Noble Phantasm in Nasuverse so it's not restricted on being what you call it a "turtle shell".

Also, how come Saber can't do anything against Gil when he clearly loses against her onscreen? Lmao. And no, give Artoria a master like Rin and Saber won't be having a hard time just like when she was with Shirou. Fate/Zero Saber shows us she can one shot every top tier servants in HGW with Excaliblast (Iskandar, he jumped on a tree just to evade and survive) only given that she has a competent master that can supply her enough magical energy. (rin, kiritsugu). And like I said before, Saber has no Avalon on default in normal cases. She's already nerfed at base but she still kick servant's asses. Meanwhile Gilgamesh has alot of asspulls in his arsenal but beats by smallfries. Even Lancelot don't give a shit about him wether he's the strongest servant🤣

Also, look up Bluebeards actual history(in FGO) after the show. It helps explain his actions that are about to happen.

Gilgamesh's current form is a data archive stored to be either used by the planet or mankind's collective best interest. While Erza is an S-Class wizard of the Fairy Tail, she's technically human and would have a hard time against Gil. It's hard to pit two characters from two different universes with different magic systems. Probably ask the Death Battle crew.

I'd recommend looking up the names of the servants after they are revealed. Even if you can get the gist of their legends, it will be a great help at understanding their characters. Some are heroes from stories and others are historical figures.

Berserker sounds much better in the dub

Two important things: Reason why Gilgamesh is such a shit talker. Basically, Gilgamesh is the most ancient great king we know of, so in Fate, he's basically the first of all kings and the first of all Heroes. Which is why, he's also such a dick too 😂 And if you have trouble remembering the rider's name, "Iskandar" that's because he goes for a much more popular name usually. Just google it, honestly. I really don't think it's a spoiler, it's just makes you understand him better if anything
