Just watch how saber does the same thing over and over and over again by spamming like 5 moves. Then look at how lancer has to like, send Baz up in the air, follow her, go down and keep her in the air, ground slam her while he is on the ground, lift her up again and so on.... Some characters just need -that- much skill to master.

Using how Type Moon Logic works, Receiving multiple attacks from Zero Lancer can only mean death since you cant heal your wounds and prana infused equipment (armor and weapons) are rendered useless.

Arc System Works, please remake this game!

I really love this game. I could not do the Luviangelica combo but all the others yes (in mission), in arcade I can do Saber, Rider and Archer combos. And a version modified of assasin combo.

My problem is with that cancel in which you end the motion of a move with up. I can do it fairly well, except when you have to do it multiple times and if it's on a 646 motion move. So Assassin just doesn't work for me.

@roonike2 there are no Fate Hollow Ataraxia anime as far as I recall there are only Fate Stay Night series, Fate Zero series and Fate Unlimited Blade Work movie. As well as Carnival Phatasm series

Can anyone help me out with Gilgamesh's EX Burst ? I've seen the guides but I don't understand the number system.

@roonike2 actually, the Fate/Stay Night anime takes after the Fate Route, however have little spoils from here and there in the Heaven Feels and Unlimited Blade Work Routes. And saying Hollow Ataraxia is a continuation is not quite right, since it doesn't follow any of the endings in Fate Stay Night. And the reason why I said that is becuz ur reply to ifrianpsu, which is an answer to "is there any anime for this game", mentioned FHA, which is not an anime :)

Arc System Works, please remake this game or just make a new Fate fighting game we need one

@deamor123 ... fate/stay night is based on the VN of the same name, they didnt animated heavens feel wich use sakura arc and where saber alter and dark sakura comes from, hollow ataraxia isnt an anime is the "continuation" of fate stay night and is also a VN like fate/stay night... it imprese me how many ppl dont know much about series they saw/like

Saber can't hold a candle to Lancer in this game. Her combos seem so monotonous compared to his. I like how they captured Gilgamesch's fabulousness.

Actually, I myself played GG on a keyboard for a few years. And then I trained to use gamepad (p3). And bought arcade stick recently. And, you know what? It takes 2-3 times less practice to do 632146 motions; it's easy to do in both directions. And arcade stick takes practice to move fast, but you can do ANY motions without any practice. Training arcade stick mostly results in faster and more precise inputs. And keyboard... I can't do circle motions unless I practice with them often. Nuff said.

I mean it’s rational considering you need to kill Berserker 12 times and it’s hard enough to kill him once. *But no you have to go the extra mile and kill him 11 more times while he hits as hard as a Truck and moves faster than one!*

Thing is, keyboard has its limits of execution. It's hard to do circle motions or 632146 motion from left to right. It even has issues with half-circle inputs. Those are facts and there's nothing to do about them.

Another fun fact? The version that had the hentai sold less than the version that had it cut out.

The conditions are not that easy to set. You need 2 Fragarachs on the field (set with Answerer), then Holy Grail Burst, and then do the ultimate. I'm sure you can figure it out.

Act Cadenza and Actress Again do have PS2 versions, but they have never been released overseas. The PC version of AC is fully translated and AACC is currently halfway through translation.

If you mean the Ultimate, it's a Deadly Rave (a Super that requires further inputs after the activation). For inputs, I need to know what version of the game, as the PSP version changed a lot of move inputs to compensate for the lack of a control stick.

I didn't say that it's impossible to play with keyboard...but Im sure you won't say that keyboard is better device for fighting games than pad or stick, and if you say so than it means that you are playing very casually or never tried any pads/stick

Tohsaka's and Alt Saber's are the only ones that one combo KO xD

Or Zero Berserker alternatively.

I don't disagree, but Leysritt does have the whole silliness factor :P

I can't even handle mission mode on normal with gilgamesh, how fast do you need to be moving your fingers to even be able to combo like this goodness

actually you don't need to be fast to do gilgamesh's EX move ... you just need to time it right also the HLM combo comes after the Enkidu pull which is >

+HiddenMelody actually the combos are a tad different on ps2, like 1-2 more buttons, surprisingly makes it a lot harder. I was able to do his ex move easily on psp, the ps2 version, still haven't done it successfully. Granted I'm using a dual shock 4 controller and it feels a bit weird at times

ps2 has more fluid commands than that of the psp version .. though I gotta admit the DS 4 feels kinda weird.. that's why I'm stuck with my handy DS 3 controller

I could probably try my DS3 Controller, just too lazy to find my cord for it. PS2 is more fluid indeed, but with the PSP version I could just use the D pad, not so easy on the ps2 version, requires me to use that cursed analog stick, which can be a pain because i'll be doing a combo on gilga, and he'll switch to GoB without my intention. Screwed me over on the "kill without switching from Ea" mission quite a few times.

I actually play better on a keyboard since I have done so for like 5 years. Although I play fair on pads as well but only with a few issues.

+Dopa44 Actually they aren't that well OP. Well Rin was in the PS2 version but it was usually Shirou, Archer, Rin, Saber(not alter) and Kotomine that were freaking op. The Grail moves aren't really that great. It was all about combos outside of it. Shirou had the best combo chaining than the rest. He was just freaking OP if the person knew how to pull them off. The game was kind balance because your not going to let your opponent combo smash you for the Grail finisher move. You could always Burst mana out of them easily. Now Shirou on the other hand oh boy he only needed 1 mana gauge to wreck stuff. His moves were fast and chainable that he could wreck opponents at full HP in matter of seconds if the person was fast enough. Same with Rin she needed at most 2 mana bars to start wrecking things but wasn't that great because she causes enemy to gain too much mana gauge unlike Shirou who attacks didn't make the enemy make gain lots of mana in a short time. Archer same thing like Rin but he was harder to pull off because his normal combos with his swords were too slow unlike shirou but his bow combos could keep his opponent juggle for more than half their full bars. The only problem was if you miss one arrow well let just say your screw. Kotomine was in the realm of Shirou but it was always one move which is kind look down upon. His FREAKING Kicks of just.... I mean Holy kicks. He was just OP his kicks had lots of range and damage but again back to Rin problem. He did cause enemies to get full gauges but it was usually too late because he did soo much damage in a short time. And he was easy to pull off because all you had to do is press the kick button twice to do his double kick of justice.. I mean of DOOM. Overall Shirou was the king in the PS2. But everyone got nerf in the PSP version. The arcade I forgot who was the best at the time. Even with this you could still Mana Burst out of most of them if they were too slow to pull them off.

Saber (not alter), her grail burst bonus is every sword attack will stun opponent. Now you can spam all those sword combos before you unleash the EX, you can't even mana burst out from that. Sakura and Saber alter is pretty slow so there's saving grace.

... No you're not.

But to play True Assassin, you would need a lot of people all at once.

@@BygoneT when you finished charging up his np, its usually because the match is ending and u could actually just finish it regularly, using ubw would just be for style points. Its like, well no, not "like", its just an ult that u can use once per game for taunts, nothing else. Imagine if in mvc3, deadpool's hyper combo is just one big tea-bag (scratch that, it is, but kinda good), you thinks people will find him viable?
