Lol every season of MK games made the next one better, thats why each season is different from another

During the MK Armaggeddon clips, I swear, with all those different fatalities, I was waiting for KI's announcer to cut in, like "ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!"

For those who dont know...The MK1 announcer is Ed Boon

MK2 hands down, also has the best "round one, fight!" Announcement and the original Shao Kahn maniacal laughter/taunting. Steve Ritchie is the only Shao Kahn!!

mk1, 2, and 3 are and always will be the best.

Steve Ritchie is the real Shao Khan. They fucked up when they replaced him.

Steve Ritchie will always be the voice behind MK and is still the best.

Hard to decide between 1 and 2. I love Shao Kahn so I love the MK2 voice, but Ed Boon in MK1 sounds really cool with that slight distortion. If I had to choose it would probably be 1 for nostalgia, it just sounds so "right" to me.

MK1 Because I remember growing up with it but I was born in 1991

Mortal Kombat II all the way. Mortal Kombat 9's never sounded right, but rather rushed. It didn't have that "shiver down your spine" feel that MK II's "Fatality" announcement had.

***** I feel like the other announcers were TOO deep-voiced to be properly menacing, like they were just parodies of when Shao Kahn was the announcer. The MK9 version sounds like he's pleased with the carnage he's seeing and yet is angry that it's over.

Wii announcer with all those different types of fatality is something that should be forgotten by all. It never existed

MK3 is classic man.. come on!

My favorites are of MK4 and MK:SM :)

Never played Shaolin Monks, but I'm glad to know Steve muthafuckin Ritchie came back to be the announcer.

Mortal Kombat Dradly Slliance announcer is my favorite.

the more I listened to them.. the more fatality stopped sounding like a real word.

The announcer in MK:SM is the best in my opinion. I love that game! The new mk is also quite the beast, but I wish the announcer from Shaolin Monks was used here, with the echo effect that was used in MK:DCU.

0:21 for me, although there's just something about the classics.

Shang Tsung in MK1 is the best announcer.

I'd say my favorite would be between Mortal Kombat 4, and Deception

Deadly alliance, deception, Armageddon, and MK vs dc, they somewhat sounded like it was the same guy. I like that voice the best.

SHAOLIN monks was the best

My favorite it's MK3, but it would be perfect adding the bg music from the MK2 fatality. Anyway I like the new announcer from MK9 sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger. By the new this last announcer says fatality in 4 different ways.

My favourite is all of them

can't wait for the MK10 voices!

Shaolin Monks. If you were to ask me which is my favorite FIGHT announcer voice, I would definitely go with Mortal Kombat 1 (Arcade & Super Nintendo, not Sega Genesis. There is a slight difference it seems).
