Good point. I see an opportunity. You could buy wholesale and pitch it to the mom and pop food places first and then go after the big boys and factor in your profit. You could offer a monthly fee to service it if there are any problems. Boom lol

They should have these at fast food places it would be so easier !!

Working retail for eight years at the airport I feel qualify to say this should be used as a secondary count. The problems I see are ripped or torn bills not being detected, bills stuck together and what about foreign coins that look close to our regular coins.

A money weighing machine would actually be a lot faster. I count three drawers in 8 minutes using that machine. It allows me to simply pick up the small trays of change and weigh them all out in seconds, done, onto the bills, and in seconds they’re all done.

It'd kind of a joke but yes you are correct. Most jobs are also switching to robots soon also so it doesn't matter like the self checkout at grocery and ordering fast food from the app/ card and just driving through or going to the counter to pick up food. Cashiers are a dying breed and should sharpen skills on something else and jump ship

All stores need this cuz I never worked a register before and its getting easy but the worst part of my shift is freaking counting down my register 💆🏽‍♀️

my store doesn't have a machine though, I was hoping for a way to count money by hand, but dont get me wrong you're right that is the fastest way I mean😂

Do whater works for you. If I am alone as thr owner of the store, I dont even count the coins. That makes it much faster. Also I paperclip 1 dollar bills in stacks of 20 or 25 which will also make counting the drawer much faster

@@milaninvegas at my store theres different requirements we clip 300$ in 20s and 100$ in tens etc, I was just looking for a way to count faster and without accidentally miss-counting, this is my first ever job so I'm having a bit of trouble is all

Where are you located

I ran a restaurants for years I just didn't worry about pennies drawer would be over or short by that amount but it saved a lot of time versus worrying about pennies.

How is an employee going to pay rent when they buy a coin counter for one days wages and a paper bill counter for 4 days wages? Also, my mother boyfriend had a coin counting machine which often miscounted. Also I used to eat sandwiches everyday for lunch at Subway and the coin dispensing machine always short changed me. Never the same as what the receipt said.

Fastest way to go home is take a car instead of walking.

Banker and teller school taught us with 0 machines counted a draw, vault and atm machine within 20 mins 🤷🏾‍♀️

I would love to see that on video. I believe that if we have the machines available to make our life easier or to at least double check our work, why not use them? You sent a text message and not walk it over to your friends house right ?

@@BlessedndHighlyFavored I got you. I always try doing the larger ones first and work my way down to the pennies. I count each coin type differently. Quarters you want to put a long stack on one hand and pick off 4 coins at a time with your other hand. I empty it and then count as I am putting it back in stacks of 4 coins or $1 each. Write down on a scratch paper the amount for each denomination so you dont forget and have to do it all over. With dimes, I take all of them and split in half between my 2 hands and I drop 2 at a time back into the empty drawer slot. If I end at 24 of them you know it is $2.4 for example. Nickels I count by 2s also 10. 20. 30 and put a tick mark for every dollar I get to. Pennies I count the same as the dimes by grabbing all of them and split in two with both hands and drop 2 at a time. I hope this helps. I will do a video on it soon. If you get paid by the hour, there is no rush. I would rather not have it if I worked at Checkers. I would take my sweet time and count every penny. With the coins, grab with both hands and drop 2 at a time to make it faster and count 2,4,6,8... and then do the math if it is nickels and you have 22 for example you know you have $1.10. Write down on scratch paper. You have a smart phone with a calc. Add up the coins and bills and there you go.

I’m better off counting myself it takes me no longer than 3 minutes to count a register literally just use multiplication if I have 25 20 dollar bills I know that’s 500

Ok so I came for a method to use when you don't have a counter . But boy did you sell me on buying the equipment myself 20 min 365 days a year is a lot of money down. The toilet idk why every company doesn't just have this

If you don't have a counter, just count the money in the drawer. It is not rocket science my friend. Bills followed by coins. Where is the hold up?

Takes me 10 min to handcount 3 registers. Just learn to count.

Have you seen the average IQ in this country? I have owned my businesses for 14 years now and I am still yet to find someone that can Windex windows properly. I have taught and taught and taught and it does not work. If it was so easy to simply teach and for them to learn, the world would be a perfect place. We also deal with large comes of cash. I know how to count better than prob 99.9% of the population but I don't want arthritis counting thousands of bills daily. The machine makes life easier. I triple check my work sometimes by running it through again and still faster than hand counting. Why do you drive to go to the store rather than walk? You were taught how to walk right? Are you Amish? We use machines to make life and tasks easier and faster. If it takes you 10 mins to count 3 registers. How would you feel if you could do it in 5? If your time is worth money then you would understand my point. If you are counting 3 drawers that tells me what line of work you are in and it also let's me know why. 😉

Thanks bro. I just have a little shop in Vegas called Modern Utilities. We sell internet, Directv, cell phone services, etc. Just to get more foot traffic we added Western Union, Wish, and became a UPS access point. Since the Pandemic, we have been closed for face to face business and only do calls and texts for CenturyLink and Directv. Sucks which is why I am trying to get this KZread stuff off the ground. I just made my first $200 after 10 years of playing around with it. Time to take it more seriously. Thanks for the kind words my friend
