Around 6:00 it looks like Terran could have walzed right into protoss's base and end the game but terran didn't actually know where that was and the zealots cleverly evacuated to a bogus location.

Aw man, purple had that game and lost it due to being way too conservative with his aggression. Also, there is no excuse for lacking upgrades on Fastest due to how many resources you get so quickly. Firebats in those bunkers would have been murder on the zots. Nice base build though. Teal pulled through with massive upgraded macro and full frontal assault. That templar storm was hilarious too. Super fun game.

Daaamn, this was a great recovery by Protoss player - mass Zealot approach really saved the day, as well as breaching forward through the minefield to blos up as many mines as possible at once. Great game and good cast as well!

thanks made the mistake of not immediately scouting after he got control over mid to figure out Jose's position on the map. At first he assumed Jose was at the 9 spot because Jose walked his Zealots into that direction so he didn't bother to scout. Later on Thanks didn't get enough SCV's mining gas and minerals and didn't add enough factories to match the Protoss Macro capability. Too Vulture heavy and not enough tanks.

I mean had lots of mineral float he was making almost 30 units at a time at the end terran was making 15 ish units. I feel the vultures were not the problem.

Been viewing for like a month or 2 but love your cheerful cadence and honest insight even if you aren't a highly seasoned fastest viewer. Especially love your love of the terran soundtrack muhaha. It's a small quirk but literally re-ignites my love of this game that I haven't played in like 10 years. (Not that you asked but I played fastest like 10 years ago for a very long time when the community was approx 2-5k players strong between east/west). This scan guy seems so baller and your vids are motivating me to return sometime soon just to rem the good old days! More fastest vids esp of high level guys like this or on the extremely unlikely and rare chance..if you can find any old school games of any player with the (slayer) clan tag...I'd send you some type of support or love letter bahaha (mostly jk) but ...like kinda not..but maybe. But what about mech: well the High Templar obviously attacks the Machine Spirit within. Or did they not copy-paste that aspect of the Warhammer lore.

Teal is a Hacker, rallied that probe to his entrance and built a pylon, than scouted.

it's common strategy in fastest to just take a random guess on the location of the opponent. There is nothing to lose and something to gain because the protoss is going to mid build anyways. Mid builds in 1v1 are common for Protoss, so for anyone who plays 1v1 competitively in fastest realize this is pretty standard.

Scouting the middle spots is fastest when mid building and perfectly fits into the pylon building timer. You make pylon, scout a middle spot, send back and you can instantly construct a gateway. If you scout a corner spot first you lose about 15 seconds on the gateway.

i used to be a VGT/SCD admin back in the day responsible for finding and banning the hackers. Funny you say that because Jose's name stands out and i remember banning him multiple times years ago on both league platforms

I think the big difference in this fight was that Thanks wasn't spending his money. He always had more resources than the other guy, but you can't win by being rich.

Mensoa Mro Jewel you can currently play all of Starcraft 1 and Brood Was for free, just go to Blizzard’s website. If you want the extra graphics and ranked ladder (regular online custom games come with the free version) then it’s $15 for the remaster, and once bought just open up the game the same way as before and press F5

not it's not. It's unfair for any race that gets a middle spot because of the fact that you are basically a position abuse victim. Main issue with mid spots is the mineral patch is unfairly close to the border of the bases which makes it easiest to drop/abuse the mineral line.

this shows how broken the game is for non flash players.. Protoss builds all that shit loses it and still wins the game just by A-moving constantly. That's all protoss has to do on money maps really against normal terran players.. warp in a million gateways and just A- move units in and use the overpowered storm where possible. It takes a super star terran player to win on money maps against those cheap fucks.. and then they can also drop and u can't stop it really.. Their shit is just way too strong no matter how many turrets you have up they always manage to drop a fukin templar in there .. Fucking protoss the ruination of the game. Thank god for flash.. It was like the balance of nature created a mutant super hero to re-balance the bullshit and make these shit head protoss players cry.
