Sorry but you are wrong India export to GDP ratio is 22.7% , while china has 20%, and USA is 10.8% so USA is consumer based economy but china and India is not consumer based economy they are hybrid economy where a great chunk come from export and Germany is export based economy with 50% export to GDP ratio.

@@indian511 i had checked it and both are near 20% . ok , now check the (domestic consumption % per gdp) of us , china and india. then u will know the actual reality of which country are ok with their domestic production or doesn't have a good internal consumption like china .

The Philippines is an enigma, it is a consumer based economy. It should be an agriculture based economy and this should be well and good with the roads and transport infrastructure development but the reverse is happening, food products are becoming expensive. Even when corruption is rampant, something is right too economically speaking, or God is showing us where the wrong is being committed - right under our noses.

Vietnam should be technically bigger in economy especially by gdp per capita because vietnam demographics is in ageing stage at 32 ave and labor force population is much bigger which is 52 million than the philippines' 50 million. So vietnam must grow faster or it might have a problem like other aging countries before it get rich. Unlike philippines is still young at 25 and is just starting to benefit from demographic dividend. A few years from now, it will surpass vietnam by labor force population and that will start to even grow more and faster. But of course philippines need to create jobs for that to happen but since it allows its labor force to be exported, it can mitigate its lacking of job creation.
