Always felt this plant was so out of my price range but inspired by your cling film/sphagnum pole and with the price dropping who knows. Such a beautiful plant, and great to see UK houseplant creators!

I have seen that some people can get the micans leaves to grow just as large by allowing it to climb

Awesome video, would love to see an update of how shes going! Ive got a melano on its way to me, and im deffs going to try your spag in cling film setup! Also, i have a single full spectrum grow light, what distance would you recommend from the light would you recommend?

Thank you! The Melano is a low light plant so I would recommend you place the light at least 40 cm away from it

Pon is a mixture of perlite, lava rock and zeolite. It does not contain any organic material which means you have to provide all of the nutrients that the plant needs. The benefit of Pon is that you can use it in self watering containers
