Really love these craft moving fast! Midnight Express with the quads becoming my favorite, but the Mangusta 108 was awesome seeing it moving up on plane. More fast boats please! Awesome video!

I love the way people on the water always wave to each other, no matter who you are. Same where I grew up in the Thousand Islands on the St Lawrence on the Canadian side. In town they would look the other way before waving, on the water just big smiles and big waves...you know what I meant! A bit too much drinking though, boats coming back from places like Alexandria Bay after a full night of drinking, sometimes hitting a buoy and needing rescuing. Weed is no problem, booze is bad for operating machinery.

Weed is ok but drinking isn’t? . You know how ignorant that statement is. No vessel should be operated under the influence. And don’t feed me that bullshit “I’m way better of a driver after I smoked”, sound just as stupid as the dude that’s drunk, when they say it. Yes even weed impairs ones judgment, reaction time, and coordination. All make for a pretty unsafe operator. Weed also restricts your blood vessels for an extended period time after smoking witch makes it harder for the body to pump blood to the brain. So someone who has a beer or two over a few hours vs someone who smoked a blunt or joint is going to be a way safer operator for the day. Don’t be ignorant and operate a vessel sober if you can’t do that then bring a buddy a wife or hire a captain or Friend to stay sober and drive.

You know you hit the big time when they measure your fuel capacity by the ton!!!

A friend of mine had the same boat with a 50 Yamaha and it would fly. I bet the 90 feels like a rocket. That 12'9" BW is one of the best river fishing boats ive ever used. Almost no draft, small enough to get in the tight spots, wide enough to not feel cramped and responsive as hell.

SS Send mystery boat looks like a Cobia. I had one with a 40 Yamaha tiller. Awesome boat for rough water and stable. A tad heavy though.

I liked that the US Customs guy waved to the camera. Some of those blunt nosed boats are ugly IMHO. They don't seem to make sense either? My biggest take from these videos is the crazy amount of power so many of the boats have. What look to be about 8 metre boats with 1600hp. A boat that size here in New Zealand might have two 250hp motors, but the Americas Cup chase boats had four Yamaha 300hp motors.

I live near there and use that inlet often. I usually go out fishing but sometimes just take a cruise.

Unless one fell off, that intrepid only has 3 motors.

It’s not only the fact that they’re running so many engines but they’re running them at high rpm’s which just sucks down gas at a ridiculous rate, which means huge gas tanks, which slows the boat or you have small tanks with limited range.
