Thank You very much, Brenda 🌹🌹 Before turning I thought that I will miss that hole but unfortunately not so I had to figure out something on speed to fix it and in front of my face I had french clits with wood screws. Idea came itself 😁👌

Nice one Rav, well done 👏. I enjoy making bud vases too. Fun to turn when using green wood. Very rustic and any cracks aren't a problem. Perfect for dried flowers 💐 etc.

Sweet ! You beat your time of 40 minutes - I figure it too about 7 minutes including the money shots at the end ... you deserve a 🥇 and 🏆. 🤡🤪 And some metal work thrown in too ? Pretty soon you'll have a welder and milling equipment LOL. But ... the bud vase is nice, so nice 🌺🌼🌷 Take care my friend. -Mike😷

Thanks a lot, Mike 🤝😀 It tooks almost 50 minutes because I was needed to watered myself more often. I would to be so fast as You wrote but I like taking a pleasure from turning and let it stay 👌 I was never welding but milling equipment sounds great for me 😀 Maybe someday I will buy good chainsaw and milling grip like Leo have. It's portable and works very nice. All the best my friend 👍 Rav

@@Secondlifeofwoodturning Yes, stay watered up - that's a big concern with us older folk you know 👴👺 I have been thinking chainsaw more and more - there's actually room for cutting and storing wood in the new place. BTW, I couldn't figure out how you got it cut in 7 minutes in the vid - hmm, did you edit out some boring stuff for us perhaps. LOL

@@mpart_woodlathe-stuff Yes, I cutted off some boring minutes and speed up in some places. Chainsaw is a one of the bestest "friends"of woodworkers. If You will be cutting in closed room remember about ventilation. Gasoline is a poison or just buy an electric chainsaw like me. Stay safe my friend 👍

@@Secondlifeofwoodturning I'll probably get a corded, self-sharpening 16 inch chainsaw. Battery ones are more useful but 3 to 4 times the cost. Ugh.
