Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

From Fast as Funk, the number one in Tamiya action movies comes 'Fast as Funk at Shell Island'.
Summer 2006. A handful of Tamiyaclub's old faithfuls head to Shell Island on the North Wales coast for a weekend of r/c action. This video is the result. Once again Fast as Funk brings you the best in vintage Tamiya r/c movies. The best vintage Tamiya Sand Scorcher action...!

Beautiful, competent cars, superb location (lovely powdery sand, no buildings to disrupt scale), well-thought-out videography and good editing; great video! This should be a lesson to us all. Has anyone else noticed that Tamiya owners produce some of the most imaginative rc car vids on You Tube? 5 stars from me!

I'm loving this video. 240p and choppy slow mo shots... But I'm loving it! In a weird way it actually adds to it. Only thing that could have made it better would be to run the cars without antennas to make them look even more real.

dammit...watched this and went and bought ANOTHER ONE!...oh well never such thing as "too many" SS's Best RC pedigree ever. Have had them since I was a kid in the late 70's and they are nothing but a 10 on the fun meter. Not the fastest, not the most maneuverable, not the most scale, not the most affordable...BUT they are most certainly the most pure joy in a big boy toy you can pack into a day. Good job guys with the video, you're doing a good service to our friends at Tamiya. Spread the joy!

The BOSS is my wife. I jokingly meant that she will let me buy another toy. And that your cool video helped her understand how much fun the Sand Scorcher is. Thanks, you put together a really fun video.

Grtz

I'd love to but it wasn't shot in HD. It was recorded on Mini DV at 720x576/25i - Old school...! HD cameras cost a fortune when this was recorded and were priced for professional or semi professional users.

I have had a lot of people asking what the music is on this video, particularly the track that starts around 3m20s. The answer is External Key by the Audioholics. This particular version is the Gabriel and Dresden mix. Enjoy...

Outstanding vid...I'm also in the process of restoring my SS. What motor are you using? Did you convert to B/L? and if so how did you deal with the gears in the gearbox? Or did you modify to get a 540 to fit...? Great stuff.
