Would you buy the Jaguar F-Pace SVR over the BMW X3 M and the AMG GLC63 S?

nah amg pretty hot but the engine here is nice

Simply because of the sound. That puts it over the top for me.

I'm biased as I ordered a F pace svr; but i test drove X3m, GLC63 AMG, Alfa Stelvio, and Macan GTS. Look the benz is a rocket bathed in leather (though exterior is pretty meh to me); Macan is a scalpel but small, X3M is one boring corporate interior but dear god is it glued to the road (also the harshest ride), and the Alfa is just fun (but wow is that interior bad). I chose jag because sound, and in the real world, who care about 2/10 tenths of a second. The question is; are they fast and the answer is yes. Last point is; where i live i throw a rock and hit 2 bmw M cars and 3 amgs; along with 7 various women driving Macans. Nice to be in something you don't see at a traffic light everyday.

@@scharnscharnhorst7626 Scharn, I share your views on all of the competition which I too tested. I've had my SVR now for 1 month and it is a wonderful machine - beautiful, fast, quick, luxurious, and a sound which can't be matched. We must live close together although it is possible there are other places like Oakville, Ontario where thrown rocks can't miss a BMW, Audi, Merc, or Porsche German machines. However, in Oakville, you also see 5 or 6 Range Rover Sports, none of which sport a snorkel as no one takes them off road. .

@@stevegesner8835 Hah i'm in SoCal, and there are Range Rovers and G Wagons that might not even see rain let alone dirt. My SVR should be here in a month or so. I'll give it an honest owner review like i've done for my Golf R, and Kia Stinger; but I am excited for it

the glc might start cheaper, but the options list is waaayy longer than in the f-pace.

this version's rear looks awesome, i hate my velar sva's rear the more i look at it. lol

How can they go electric without having a viable electric already? Sounds crazy to go electric that early.

The Jaguar I-PACE (full electric) already exists and isn’t too bad, is it?

Drive this then drive any turbo suv.If you buy the turbo that means you know nothing about cars

I have a 2020 AMG GLC43, with the lease coming to an end. Figured I would do one last "hurrah," before going electric. The V8 in this thing is amazing and SOUNDS amazing. It is a visceral experience we likely will miss, with the oncoming shift to EVs. I think I will be buying an SVR over the new mild-hybrid AMGs coming out. Either go all-in on a burly engine or go EV. I am making the V8 my next choice.

Why should we buy jaguar after 2025 in ev there engines are the real sole of this brand they gonna regret

That’s not true… these types of cars are not going away in 3 yrs 🤦🏻‍♂️
