I drove this beast yesterday and fell in love with it! It is absolutely gorgeous to look at and it packs a really good punch!! Well done Jaguar! Im actually looking to buying one of these!

Buy it as soon as possible because most probably v8 would be banned for environmental reasons

Gotta love Jaguar. I used to have a Jaguar S-Type V8 and what a speed demon it was. I believe it had a top speed of 171 mph although I never tried. Then it was such a smooth, safe and comfortable ride even at triple digit speeds. Always felt like I had really good control of it, rode like it was on rails.

Definitely the best looking SUV with the most character and utility.

I’m loving my trouble free SVR motoring and when I get rid of it will probably get the facelift because I love it so much! 😃

Yes. It's between the Velar and this for me. Personally, I prefer the classic elegance of the Velar over the mean aggressive looks of the F-Pace.

I enjoy your content Autocar but please please please make the most of these nice sounding engines and play more engine noise. You can’t hear it at all ever!

Great video, I love this suv. Looks so good, interior is one of the best looking out there and that V8 is so underappreciated.

The Range Rover Velar and Jaguar F-Pace are the best looking SUVs on the market. One for it's elegance and the other for its sportiness. The Velar is the winner for me though. The F-Pace seems overtly aggressive for a Jaguar, making it another one of those typical flared up menacing looking performance SUVs. The Velar just feels so uniquely Range Roverish

So stoked for my dad getting one next week

Definitely want one of these. Significantly cheaper than the Range Rover Sport and more character than the Germans. As it's a facelift the reliability should be better than the JLR average... Hopefully!

Ever considered the RR Velar SVAutobiography? Now that has character and is cheaper than the RR Sport SVR

It used to be cheaper than the Glc 63 s amg, now they are on par. Definitely one of the best sports SUV out there. That burble from the exhaust is mind blowing. The previous generation is a steal now for the half the price. Great review

Have been debating on the pre-face lifted SVR over the Stelvio QV, GLC 63S. Not needed anymore now with this updated SVR as it addresses all the short comings of the old one. SVR for sure! That V8 just sounds so damn good! Now the debate with my wife is this SVR or the Defender V8. Both are equally sweet. 😁

My next car. I’ve an XJR at the moment and love the engine.

Truly a masterpiece. The Germans may make all the money, but it takes a true enthusiast to appreciate the F-Pace SVR. From the gorgeous exterior to the heavily updated interior, this thing is absolutely stunning. It may not accelerate like an X3M but it sure sounds like nothing else. This goes beyond a Hellcat even...

I think hands down its the best in its class. The 2021 upgrades are subtle but made a big difference

An epic car, the only SUV I would rather have is a Range Rover Sport SVR. That is the same beastly engine but with a proper offroad herritage and capability, and the interior ofc is a step up.

idk, for something like a Clubsport GTi I can appreciate people might be using it for trackdays and tweaking damper settings is a nice feature to have - even to feel like it has that capability for cars that are never tracked. For an SUV? yea, less granularity is needed or wanted

Nice that the display has small bezels and is curved, but it would be even nicer if they integrated it into the dashboard more.

Real vent, genuine exhaust are now 'features', sigh. I hate those fake vents and cosmetic exhaust outlet.

Hopefully the Velar SVA Dynamic gets round escape pipes too.

I'm in the US and I'm hunting for one now. Debating on the 2021 through 2018 SVR. I never thought I will buy a Jaguar but hearing that it has a supercharger and not are turbo really got me interested. Drove to regular F pace with 345 horsepower that was one screaming SUV. To say I'm impressed with Jaguar would be an understatement. I will take a V8 engine in a 10 minute petrol fill up then sitting at a charger for 2 hours or having my daughter sit and some strange charging place for 2 hours. Electric vehicles are not there yet. I have nothing against them but until solid state batteries come out without any issues and can travel 800 miles to a charge and charge fully in 10 minutes I won't be buying one.

@Matt, awesome review of the 2021 F-Pace SVR. I was wondering do you know the Official reason Jaguar no longer makes/offers the F-Type SVR. Yes, I do know that the 2022 F-Typer R will come with the "SVR" Motor 575 HP Supercharged V8, but it's missing the Rear Wing and the SVR Badage :(

This Restyling couldn't come in better timing, with the quick downsizing and extinction of the big V8 especially supercharged in europe. SVO did their homework as always, this clearly demonstrates that with few updates and changes it as the capability of being right there with the Best. But there's a special note they still do like no one else, big growl of the wildcat👌

I am comparatively excited with the F-Pace SVR and the DBX, where the Jaguar realises a theoretical smile in more ways than I'm comfortable....I am leaning towards the keys of the Jaguar 🕶️😽

Ig they won’t ditch the supercharged but instead make it hybrid and put some batteries on the floor board to provide an extra amount of boost for a launch control similar to what AMG has just announced

Where does that leave SVO in a move to an all electric future for Jaguar? Seems to me the new F-Pace SVR is closer to the I-Pace than before: * Torque, particularly at low revs * Refinement * Configurable throttle response, steering, suspension * Info tech It's not so hard for me to imagine an SVO version of a future I-Pace, with (optional) piped sound of a 5 litre supercharged V8 petrol engine

Not a big deal but..how is a Porsche mecan more of a competitor against the jag than the cayenne?.. the jag is same size as the ranger rover and a x5m and glc63

This and the Levante GTS/Trofeo is a great alternative if you want more personality than the Germans with the cost of slightly worse reliability. Just imagine if Lexus put the 5.0 V8 in their RX.

Only car in that sector, "or any sector really", with a 5-litre supercharged V8???? You've obviously forgotten the Range Rover Sport SVR, which arguably started JLR's venture into ridiculously overpowered sports cars and SUVs. I do like the F-Pace SVR, but I prefer the look and presence of the RRS SVR which, even though it has a more powerful version of the V8 supercharged engine, is heavier at 2.3 tonnes and is therefore less agile. The F-Pace looks too generic

Who wants to faff around with screens, instead of keeping your eyes on the road and driving. This is supposed to be enjoyable to drive ?

I love my f pace svr. As an employee the employee discount helps a lot. Best bang for the buck small suv. The girlfriend drives it mostly though

Land rovers are terrible mate overpriced and depreciate like crazy and hideously unreliable.

All those changes and still no body colored wheel arches. Fail

The temperature has gone up .8c in 140 years. That is way less than people think. It was a full 1c warmer during the medieval warming period.

If temperature is influenced by man made CO2 as strongly you claimed then why has the Earth temperatures been warmer before there was hardly any man made CO2. Total BS. The temperature has gone up 0.6 degrees in the last century and 0.8 in 140 years which is nothing out of the ordinary and is purely natural variation that has occurred throughout the history of the planet. Where were all the cars and industry during the medieval warming period? It should also be pointed out that plants and animal's have thrived far more during warming period than the numerous ice ages. We should rejoice at the minor warming as it's better for people and plants and animals. If you disagree then please move to Siberia or Alaska and enjoy the weather!
