Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this plane!!! We finally got some good flying weather this morning here in North East Florida and I took advantage of it and flew 4 packs in this Gorgeous plane! Can't say enough about how AWESOME this plane fly's! I'm the only one in my club that has this plane but I think several of the guys went home and ordered it after seeing it fly and listening to me brag on it! Happy Flying!!!!

Nice plane, I set my limits on what I spend for aircraft, so won't be purchasing this one, but I did build one using blue form board, total cost was $55, and it flies and looks great.....

Hey there, I have picked one of these up recently flew it last Friday and I would have to agree with you. This a-10 is amazing!!!!!! I can’t figure out how to turn safe off yet so I can’t do rolls or nothing yet but this jet is amazing.

No, if you are a complete beginner choose the Aeroscout. If you have some experience choose the Eflite Valiant

I love the A10. Tom Cruise flew a F-14 Tomcat in the Navy in the movie Top Gun.

Years and years ago I ran in a track meet in Alma Michigan. They had one of the first rubberized tracks and basketball courts in Michigan. This would Be a great surface to to t/o and land.

I love watching your jet videos was wondering if you would consider taking it one more step and attaching a small very small camera to record the jet flying FPV to a phone app or SD card which you could put into your videos is that technology possible would you consider adding that one day? It would make it seem like the viewer is flying.

What is the top speed, and ease of flight comparison to the E-Fligth Viper .

Have it... love it...flies amazingly. I did have a motor bearing go grindy on me but the good folks at Horizon Support sent me a replacement free of charge. These things happen, all good now. She still flew with no performance issues. Just noisy as hell.

The Avenger or (GE GAU 8a) will rock the whole aircraft when firing and at or near 3900 RPM (Rounds Per Minute) the 30mm is a very reliable weapon system. It was a blast (no pun) flying the Hawg for 16 years plus the USAF are needing pilots special for the A-10 programs as we are all retiring in the next 8 to 10 years I believe

The pilot of that Warthog is called Brrrt. Tom flies the F-14 Tomcat in the Navy. Brrrt is a talented Air Force aviator. And A-10s are slow. 400 some odd knots. Beautiful plane. My favorite jet-powered war bird. :) You said you had this on a DX8 radio, right? My best is a DX6e, so I presume that means I'd have to decide between having SAFE or some other control. Is that how it works?

CROG the point is Tom Cruise wouldn’t be flying this... he’s a Navy pilot. The A-10 is an Air Force plane.

"Tom Bert" reminds me of my home town of High Wycombe. Tom Burt's Hill is a local landmark and viewing spot overlooking the town, and I walked past it every day on my way to school (more than 50 years ago...).

5:00 my hbz champ got its wing cut off by a super cub. Some Ca and packing tape fixed it and it still flies on rails.

I have always loved the look of this and it's ugly beauty, and wish I was proficient enough flyer to buy and attempt to fly but at the moment I am only just getting the VTOL's to fly in plane mode let alone going to the 3D mode. I have seen some cheaper ones not by E-flite would I be better starting with one of the cheaper one's working up to this model, as it is a case of when not if I crash it as I have crashed my XK X450 a couple of times but still have the JJRC M02 VTOL in reserve for when it is not possible to repair the XK450 especially when I get the nerve up to fly 3D lol. Any new planes in the pipeline or offroad vehicle's.

Nick if you have a Spektrum Radio the Safe version of this plan is very forgiving, easy to assemble and set up, there is no better A-10 on the market at this time! I highly recommend this plane! I also have the XK450 and this plane is as easy to fly in safe as the 450

SAFE = Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope basically a gyro computer in the plane that keeps it stable in flight and self rights the plane in "panic mode"

If your goal is to buy and fly this A10, but your only experience is flying drones. You don’t want to buy a bunch of planes to get “good enough” for the A10. What would your path of least expense recommendation be to get there?

Thanks for another great video guys! Great flying Nate, this one is a MUST have for me, I just need to get my skills up a little. How "easy" does it really fly? This would be only my 3rd plane ever. I have the Carbon Cub S2 and the turbo timber evolution should be here soon I hope. I want to buy this one as well but I'm pretty new, I fly full size aircraft and helicopters but I'm a RC newbie. What level of skill would you say this plane is for? I WANT ONE SO BADLY !

Get some time in on the TT Evo because it is way more capable than the S2. And if you want true progression maybe shoot to buy the Viper after you fly the Evo for a while. Then I'd say go for the A-10! But, depending on your success rate of the TT Evo, may e jump right in to the A-10! It really is very easy to fly. Just quite a bit faster than your two current planes. The Viper is a great first EDF because it can fly very slowly compared to most EDFs. Happy Flying! 👍😁😎⚓

Hey Nate! I haven't flown EDFs before but I love the A-10. Do you think that if you're a mostly intermediate pilot on prop planes you can fly this bird, or would it be wise to transition through something like an Airacobra or F-15? I've flown mostly bush planes and the Valiant so far, which admittedly are pretty different machines.

Great question Mae! So, you are right on track for this bird. With your experience, there is no need to pick up the F15 or F16 first, unless cost is the only issue. If you can swing the price of this plane, it flies 10x better than both of those birds. You will be extremely impressed the first 20 seconds it's in the air. Hi-ho all✨🤗✨! I bet Nate knows this, but sometimes what he says (4:05) may lead one to a conclusion not exactly correct. This BEAUTIFUL plane was first introduced, regarding its FIRST FLIGHT, back in May 6th, 1941. It was officially INTRODUCED November, 1942. According to my dad, it was one of the SWEETEST flying ships of its day. Were he still alive, and asked about this plane and his experience, I KNOW his eyes would start to glow a bit, a smile would come across his face, and he would tell you how the plane he flew, his "P-47" affectionately named 'Here I Come... You Can't Hide!', was his absolute BEST experience in the days of him being in the 'Air Force'... called 'The Army Air Corps' when first started up. The name was changed in 1941 to the 'Air Force', I think. Any who, my understanding is that this was one of the few planes that would do what ever asked of it, unlike some of the other in the sky. I do not own this plane, but I have flown TWO owned by others_ ABSOLUTELY GREAT FUN!!! When I can, if ever, afford to do so, you-bet-your-sweet-bippy I will be getting one, or maybe TWO so I can fly with a buddy!

So far I've not had any issues. I'm positive that I have around 25-30 flights total on this bird and I don't see any signs of it getting weak. It also just lands so perfectly that I don't see it being an issue. Just my personal experience so far!

That jet was a F16 he flew, although the movie didn't show if he flew other planes.
