Fast action fall fishing at Strawberry reservoir

My friend Dan and I took our dads to Strawberry reservoir to go fishing out on his boat. We lucked out with some fast action using flies and tube jigs. Our goal was to get our dads into some fish. They were constantly hooking up and had a lot of fun. Overall, the trip was a blast.

Way to get them out! Crazy how a place like the Berry can spoil you with 20 inch fish all day. Some nice rainbows in the mix too.

I had some fun there this fall. It’s sad the stillwater season is ending 😢

Ice fishing is already here. It's fun--- but not as fun haha
Not too many better ways for dads and sons to bond - regardless of ages - go fishing together!

Leeches and minnows on the fly rods. Tube jigs on the spin rods
