I was already bewildered at them wanting vibrant *and* soft undertones/neutrals - I thought they would cancel each other out but now I have examples of how it can work together! Feel like you have to have a lot of confidence in yourself but really appreciate seeing the creative process - feels much more feasible to let yourself play around with it rather than focusing on creating a specific design! Love all of these as usual!!

This is amazing Melissa!!! My favorites are the 1st and the 4th nails. I wish I had 1/8 of the talent you have. When I do something like this, I like it while I'm doing it but then when it's done I hate it. lol

I have that issue too. What I do is, when I'm done, I pretend it's someone else's work. Looking at it that way you can look at what you/they did well and give constructive criticism. I do this because I know I'm hard on myself. I think you might be too. Sounds crazy but I find it productive. Best of luck 🙂

Seeing the process was great, but I also enjoyed seeing Melissa mix colors across lines! I wondered for sometime if that could be accomplished successfully, now that I've seen it done, I'm even more excited to try it myself. I have Mission Control and we'll a several colors of Go Time, planning my list for Mani Q colors now! Phenomenal and Windfall are definately must haves, love 'em both! Thanks again Tracey and Melissa! Please, show us more color- mixing techniques in upcoming videos!? 🙏

I think social media makes it so easy for us to forget there's a _process_ before the photos that I, at least, find myself getting caught up in "not being fast like others" and forget that I'm PULLING TINY ART OUT OF MY BUTT and that's good enough because that's SO F-ING COOL

This was such a great look into the creative process! I have questions though lol. Once a design is finalized, do you two have to do all 150 sets by yourselves? Or do you have nail minions helping? And do the models get to keep the nails after the show? Because I totally would lol 😆

yes, remove the shine with a 150 grit file or sanding band, swipe and then protein bond

@@youngnailsinc Hi all, I do nails for someone who's terrified of using the drill on her natural nails. I've purchased 240grit sanding bands for her. Will this be adequate to remove shine? And is their anything you would tell a client like this?

@@aussieaussieaussie9438 that is too smooth. You need to give the nail texture to help the products stick. Try a 150 grit sanding band, lightly to remove the shine at 3,000-5,000 rpms. If she doesn't want you using the e-file, you can demonstrate showing how it feels on your wrist and then hers so she can feel that it's not hurting or use a 150 grit hand file lightly as well.

It depends on what size and shape they pick. Once they choose the design shape and length we start creating from there! ✨💅🏻💖😉😊

Gel polish is easiest when applying color! I am more time efficient. But at the end of the day you could use whatever your mind desires!! 🙌🏼😉😊💅🏻💖✨🤩

You just don't want to use it on the natural nails, but you can use it on top of enhancements.
