Raja and Raven giving me 2 best friends that grew up together in the late eighties in a shitty middle of nowhere town in Indiana, who in their last year of high school began a lesbian relationship that was kept a secret from everyone so they had to have sex in Raven’s pickup, parked in the woods. But then after graduation, and a tearful and heated fight, Raja moves to the ‘big city’ (not specified) and makes new friends, and has sex with more women, and NEVER thinks about Raven back home....except she does. And then what happens, she gets an invitation to a wedding back home. Could it be? Is Raven really doing this? But no, it’s her sister, and despite Raja’s relief she goes home anyway, apparently for the wedding but as soon as she sees her ex, we all know why she really went back. It’s the mid-nineties now, things are different. Raven’s dark bob is now flowing blonde locks, and seeing her perched on the hood of that old Toyota pickup in her denim is just too much. Raja can’t handle this. But Raven follows her, grabs her wrist, and they make eye contact. They’re 18 again, kissing behind the school stinking of whisky and weed. And that’s it. Fuck the city, fuck the diamonds, fuck the other women. It’s Raven, in her denim, with her pick up. It’s always been Raven. And THATS what those outfits were giving me. SHOOT.

Monique is doing very well in the competition but she ALWAYS thinks she's going home if she doesn't win... when they told her she was safe she honestly sounded like she was convinced she was in the bottom... girl your performance was SO GOOD... there just seems to be always 1 setback each week that blocks her from winning...
