@@zoehongteaches my mom used to say everything cycles in about 30 years.

Love the 30s fashion. Everyone loves the 50s but I fell in love with this era when I did a paper for my Intro to Fashion class. I especially love the escapism that Hollywood films and fashion brought to the era.

I love the fashion history videos ESSPECIALLY. I have a casual interest in fashion and I particularly love learning about fashion through the ages. Definitely keep the history videos coming

I would love to see more fashion videos based on the 20's, 30's & 40's.

When I first found your channel, my goal was simply to learn to draw a basic pattern. I've since consumed massive amounts of information on not just patternmaking but how to construct the piece, where the roots of my inspirations come from, etc.. I absolutely love this series and your channel! Thank you for uploading (and for including resources, as well)!

Really enjoyed this. I’ve been watching lots of old films and loving the fashion. Surprised by some of the really risqué clothing styles at that time.

One of my favourite designers of the period is Claire McCardell. Her designs were beautiful and practical. ❤

In the 1990s fashion history was required at LATTC. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This series brings back that love of fashion and design from that era. Those movies from that time, The Marx Brothers and Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers are some of my favorites for viewing fashion and creating my versions of those designs. Thank You, I will be watching!

I’ve been watching videos from historical costumers and fashion historians a lot recently, and it’s so cool and interesting how you all cover fashion history in different ways! You talk about it from more of a business sense and what influenced big trends, while they (especially costumers) talk more about how construction techniques changed and how fashionable silhouettes were achieved. Of course there’s some overlap, but I just think it’s really cool and interesting!

FANTASTIC, Zoe! I loved your research, the quick paced video, the creativity that flowed throughout. Most of all, I enjoyed your speaking voice. NO "uhs, ums, you knows". Really GREAT to hear a good speaker organize an interesting topic. LOVE IT! More, please.

Fashion and sewing is a newfound passion of mine. But I don't always have the time to go scrolling through the internet or going down the Pinterest rabbit hole. These videos are fantastic, Zoe. The books are amazing. This is my favorite era for clothes, and grew up watching these movies at a retro theater in the 1970's. All the movies from the 1930's, and 1940's. What a blessing.

Yes continue. Every bit of your presentation of fashion history has the most beautiful items. I loved it all and especially loved the shoes and accessories!!!!! I think you are the only one who presents with the timelines written up. It really helps to wrap my head around it all.
