I was thinking just the opposite…now I know why he’s so deadpan and droll…because when he is truly joyous he looks and acts ridiculous. So extra with his over the top fan gurl behavior…ugh 👎🏻🤬🤯

What strikes me is how she fully wears the clothes - they never overpower her - yet she is so fresh-faced and down-to-earth, unlike the fashion girlies of yesteryear (sharp, angular, alien-like). She represents the new wave of fashion stans, what a cool and utterly gorgeous figurehead of the movement!

Tessa seems like such a cool and fun person, just like her style. The denim look was the only one I was less of a fan of, all the rest were bangers! Also, "I could get married in this, I could get burried in this" is SUCH a mood 😂

Agreed. The actual denim outfit was ok, but ix-nay the boots and the coat. They just swallowed her up. In comparison, the Sunday look was everything the Tuesday look wanted to be. The rest of the outfits were 🔥. I will nitpick the cut of the hem on the Wednesday dress…it was a little too Clan of the Cave Bear for me.

I am not sure which part I enjoyed more...Tessa and her amazing outfits and ownership of how to switch and mix to make it even more popping or Luke's absolute joy and happiness watching the seven+ looks.

This is what vogue needs to be doing! idc about what kendall wears in a week, because kendall barely seems to care! So many of these just seem like a showcase of "I'm rich, I have lots of clothes, I wear things that are comfy ig" Tessa is the content we neeeeeed, and it's so nice to see Luke *not* being tortured for once 😂

Tessa is precisely the type of person to inspire and motivate fashion designers. She loves the clothes as much as the artists love making them. Much like LA can't exist without NY (& vice versa), designers can't exist without clients like Tessa, and Tessa achieves the most incredible looks because she supports and appreciates the artistry.

Agreed best one so far! She’s the Diva of the fashion partiva - we are not worthy! It’s one thing to have a stylist (celebrities these days it just goes hand in hand to have someone who knows what your tastes are, what’s hot and who’s hot, what designs not only push you as a brand, but elevates your presence out and about…and are just able to overall polish you for the public eye). You can tell she is a fashion gurl and she and her stylist work so amazingly together. She understands the clothes the way the are made, but also how they make her feel- FASHION IS ART! I loved her as an actress. Now I know she is perfection incarnated. Love. Love. Love. Not a bad look, ever.

Loved seeing all the excitement haha mixed in with some fashion education! My favorite part of her video is actually seeing her thinking through “these shoes - no those shoes” and how the clothes actually make her FEEL. Even though there’s only the tiniest overlap with my tastes it was more enjoyable to watch than people whose tastes I’d say match more. I always want to get to know the person and know the why behind the clothes! She 10000% understood the assignment.

Definitely my favorite of all the 7 Days 7 looks I've seen. Loved just about everything except: I didn't care for any of the bag choices. Those Vivienne Westwood shoes were trying to kill her -- how do you attach a heavy platform to your foot with a few ribbons? that's never going to work. Those shoes weren't made for walking. I didn't care for the knee to floor mess of the all denim look. That huge amount of denim with 3 extra inches of overflowing hem threw the proportions off for me. Loved the Issey Miyake look at the end but that heavy black coat she also paired it with overwhelmed instead of complemented the fluidity that Issey brings to the table.

I had never clocked Tessa Thompson as a fashion icon. Time for a massive deep dive on her looks and talking about fashion.

Ok, back to this one again & in loooove with the all black suit look with the gigantic flower, I also stan the darker lipstick choice for the RC gown look & my god, the leather coat for her NY look is stunning. I vibe with Tessa, monochrome well constructed garments with a funky twist or detail are my thing. I love how some of the garments, while voluminous don't actually wear her. Her hairstyle is everything & again the room where this episode was shot is absolutely beautiful, almost looks like a painting ♡
