I noticed that iswn menswear is way more popular in US now, which is very interesting. Back in the days when iswn first became popular in China, womenswear is way more popular than menswear, and they are a lot cheaper. Now the market for iswn womenswear has been pretty saturated in China now, while still not many men wear iswn.

Most of the list was just avantgarde brands. Can't figure whether you've projected your personal tastes or if that's the current "niche" trend with new brands. Would be a shout if you could make a video series of clothing genres where you'd do a few brand selections (main-stream, starters and indie included) and group them in entry-level (price and styling) mid-tier and end-game sorta chapters. You've got a very well developed taste of what to look for in a brand, from their design philosophy all the way to the material compositions in play.

@@perc9982 Not really my thing to keep up with trends within' niche communities. I do give them a chance and try and appreciate what the outfits try to bring to the table, after which I'll consider whether or not it's worth it for me. But I've got bills and food to pay so I'll finish my bachelor's first and then have a look over the trends once I stack them bands under my name :))

The pants fit them way too short and the jackets with the fur look like they're being suffocated in them. I think when people wore them back when originally released it was probably not as bad but I think these people just can't dress. People learning how to proxy from Japan was a mistake

@@shadshadshadnah I’ve been seeing lgb and yasuyuki grow from when it was not really popular. I remember seeing a lot of those brands when searching for other brands on Japanese sites. While there’s some cool items a lot of them are overdoing with tacky design choices. Even they’re tacky I still wish I’d had bought the lgb fur hoodies when they were 100 lol

@@lacroixgod i agree with all of this, however i didnt specify which garments arnt bad. some lgb or iswn pieces are good for layering but the mudmaxs or fur parkas ofc are tacky. the way tiktok is using these brands are horrible but if they are used in a way in how i envision it, i can see it as p decent

And I had to come back to this out of curiosity and to let you know I mean no disrespect, I've followed the channel for a while and have been subscribed for some time. Have you had all of these brands and designers clothes in hand? Have you felt the materials in person and touched and seen in person multiple collections? My biggest ick with reccomendation videos is usually the person recommending things, haven't even owned the things they recommend, how can you speak on something you have no idea about? Yes these brands have some high quality stuff and at a high price, but some other things.. not so much. I wouldn't waste my time again with any of the t-shirts or certain bottoms from these some of these brands

definitely not true. goa had a pretty clear vision making vintage/ nomad inspired pieces they just focused more on the average consumer instead of going full on designer but they still made some incredible high end garments

I usually like ur videos but almost all of these brands look the same

oh brother, you've fallen into a trend. Most of these brands are tacky, not the best material, you're just paying for design, which is okay if that's what you want. But not a lot of practicality in most of the pieces, most of the people who wear these brands style them corny and or try to fit into clothes that don't fit too well on their bodies
