Because that is still an issue as you cannot simply measure "every where". We do not know which part of the ocean on earth is the deepest.

i found one small problem. great white sharks actually have amazing vision with a lot of complexity. they can even see colour. they use all six of their senses to find prey, with hearing being the first generally to find food.
