If it really was Julie, that would have made made me horny as hell. I wish that it would have been her on the other side, I would enjoy this scene so much, as it is, I never thought it was funny that his character got humiliated personally. Even though he may have deserved it, I can’t help but feel bad for the character. It always made me feel uncomfortable when I was watching it a room of people, to the point where I had to leave the room. It disturbed me in a way. If it had been Julie, I would have loved this scene. I always loved the rest of this movie, but this scene makes it hard to watch for me.

I think all the Mars scenes were just shot with a red filter, but you're right. The cinematography is smooth that it doesn't really matter.

This entire scene is GOLD! What makes it even better is seeing all of the brilliant NASA Mission Control’s reactions, completely losing it and laughing their heads off 35 million miles away 🤣 I know fart jokes can be off putting for many people, but I thought this scene was just the right amount of hilarious and timed very well in the film. Didn’t feel forced; LOVE IT! One of the most underrated comedies out there 👏🏻🤣❤️

My son and I watched it when he was little. Now whenever he comes home on leave we have to watch this movie to reminisce.

Got to be one of the worst things imaginable. Trapped in a tiny suit with fart molecules floating up your nose with no way to escape.

I think this is the greatest fart joke in movie history. Its also the most terrifying thing to have happen to you if that is remotely possible.
