I absolutely love this game. What's especially crazy is the developers' last game was a brilliant Diablo-style action RPG Grim Dawn. You can kind of see a similar art style between the two, and some of the buildings look like what the towns and cities in Grim Dawn would have looked like before they were destroyed.

There's a joke in the community that, despite the devs claiming otherwise over and over, Farthest Frontier is set in the same universe as Grim Dawn. The building of the towns and villages before the Grim Dawn comes and dooms the world

Oh this game is my favorite city builder ATM. Teir Anno vibes but it's a bit more challenging Glad your got to play the newest patch!

This game looks amazing, but I'm waiting for Manor Lords.

This is a very pleasant game to play. Very nice to look at too. It can just run a little crappy at times, especially when settlement gets big. The next Settlement Builder im really looking forward to is Manor Lords, there demo from last year was very promising and its very beautiful. Can only imagine what has been added since. 1:47:30 Thats one thing that really ticked me off with this game. Youll be getting raided, so you sound the alarm bell for all villagers to run to town center for safety but they still aggro on the Raiders and pull a Leroy Jenkins by running straight at the armed/trained soldiers with their fists out. Even if you select them and order them to run away they will start to run then re-aggro onto the enemies. Has anyone else been having this problem or am I doing something wrong?

The tree falling sound is making me crazy because it reminds me of the Creeper detonation sound.

Are there salt houses or ways to make brine for food preserving?

At Tier 3 you unlock the glassmaker and preservist building that can jar and preserve vegetables/fruits. But other than that you have the smokehouse for meats and later on barrels.

It really hurts. I load a nice long format video and settle in for the grind. 9 minutes in we kill a villager and ruin the start. No point watching after that. 😂
