Thank you so much!! Took me a while to get this done but I hope it serves people as a guide! The car is a musttt! Yes you can get around with public transit but there are sooo many overlooks you’ll want to stop at and car gives you all the freedom! Roads are well maintained so not an issue!

Thank you Archuro! Nope! I try not to fly over people or someone’s property and I read up on rules of the country I’m visiting. I know one place I couldn’t fly near was the airport - understandably so

It’s incredible! Keep an eye out for changes as I know some hikes are now paid that WERENT when i visited! I used mainly gopro with a combination of my sony camera

how did you pay on the hikes over private property? can you just use a credit card or do you have to carry cash? I am visiting this next April:)

It depends on which hikes. I can tell you that Drangarnir Sea Stack you have to book in advance and they only offer it Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday. The only other hike i had to pay for was in Saksun and you can pay with CREDIT Card. I don’t know about having to pay for any others but bring some cash JUST IN CASE:) I hope this helps

@@sergiosantander1168 you’re welcome! My biggest suggestion is to rent a car! It’s not as expensive as you may think, and the freedom to travel wherever you want is great
