Hi everyone, here's another Dollar Tree DIY using the plastic garden fences. I love these fences because of their versatility and beauty. LifeAt50&Beyond love that this was multi use! as a lantern it looks like i couldkeep changing it up season to season, and since it is so lightweight, i think i will use the lanterns on the gate to my farm. year round help to see the padlock keyhole or whatever i need to see, and light the gate for the neighbors to see. Best diy i have seen this year!

I’m making one of these for my sisters wedding, I am from Australia and we don’t have access to dollar tree here. But we can get this same garden fence in a pack of 4 from Bunnings it is solid round though not plastic so cannot be cut by scissors and I found cutting around the curves and gluing dowl down the side was the best way to have even sides all round on the sides left with no original siding. Then paint over the dowl and glue. Looks good as new. 🥰

This is by far one of the best looking card boxes I’ve seen on KZread. Personally, most I’ve seen look gaudy with all the fake, flashy gem stone strips. This design is much more my style. Simplistic and classy.

Very nicely done. Clear and understandable. Thank you. I am going to Dollar Tree tomorrow. There were ads underneath your video. They certainly weren't 50 dollars better. Yours is very nice looking. The only thing I would suggest is ironing the burlap.

I love this project. Last year I couldn’t find the garden fence. So I bought translucent paper and attached it to glass with spray adhesive.

I don’t think it was too long. I feel it was the right length to show what we needed to recreate this project 🙂. It’s really pretty. I love it on the table with the birdcage on top. I think if someone made it to use as a card box hinges would be a good idea and Hobby Lobby over in the wood aisle has little clasps that would look perfect on the lid, along with hinges that match. You made me laugh when you said “there’s my belly” I’m only 5’2” and sometimes I need better camera angles so I just stand in a chair. I must stand on the chair bent because I always can see my knees and have to try and edit them out 😂. I love all your videos, very creative ! TfS with us!

You should iron your burlap to get all the wrinkles out of it and make it flat.And then if you use a spray paint or an adhesive or glue paper glue you could make that smooth or a nicer on the top

Thank you for going into more details concerning the placement and the gluing. I created one on 6/26/20. I had a tad bit of overhang on a corner or two. Overall, it looks pretty good for my first try. I need to add decorations. Thank you for the beautiful work.
