Farmer sets up CCTV to catch who dumped 400 tyres on his land.. then dumps them on HIS doorstep

Revenge is sweet,
Fed-up farmer hit by fly-tippers 25 times in a year sets up CCTV to catch latest culprit who left 400 tyres on his land... then dumps them on HIS doorstep
Landowner Stuart Baldwin had over 400 tyres left on land in Haydock, Liverpool
His property had been targeted 25 times in the past year so he had put up CCTV
It caught the culprit and when posted on Facebook led to him being identified
Stuart gave him a deadline to come and collect them but it passed without action
So the farmer and his friends dumped them outside his terraced house
Stuart said he enjoyed returning them, adding 'revenge is best served cold'
Livestock farmer Stuart, 56, was so fed-up after being targeted 25 times he decided to turn detective and tracked him down to his nearby home, giving him three days to clean up the mess.
But when the deadline passed without any action, the dad used one of the trucks from the family's recycling business SED Services Ltd to deliver them back.
Stuart said: 'Revenge is best served cold isn't it? I got sick of it so I thought I would do a bit back.
'Flytippers are always dumping on our farm, it probably happens 25 times a year.
'He came down and he said he was going to move them so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and a couple of days breathing - but he never moved them.
'I thought he must have forgot so I took them back to remind him.
'The response we have had since doing it. Flytipping is horrendous - why should the farmer put up for it? We work the land and scumbags go and tip rubbish on it.
'I wouldn't mind, but you can take your rubbish to the tip for free. I can't see the logic in it, it's downright ignorant to be honest.
'It's tyres and rubbish you get allsorts. I just thought 'I've had enough of this'.
'We put a camera up and he came back with some tyres and we just got him.
'My daughter put a picture up on Facebook and we tracked him down.

@James Peters. What’s with “she”(?), the hire of the tractor trailer is the cost incurred by returning the items that were tipped onto his land, and he doesn’t have to hire them charge for the hire, because there’s the cost of operating the vehicles, plus the cost of fuel and the wages for the driver, as well as paying for the people who helped to shift the tires, at both ends of the journey as well......... And don’t forget, that by the laws of the land, you’re not allowed to keep things that you find, even if you find them on your own land, because if you keep them, it means that you’re stealing them, especially when you know who they belong to............ And the person that left the items behind, knew full well that the land owner would have to pay for them to be removed, and this is effectively stealing his money, to dispose of the items, that he was either, paid to legally dispose of for money by a third party, or he was by law, the person who was legally responsible for their lawful disposal in the correct manner and place, and if he tries to get a court of law, to back him up in refusing to pay for all legitimate costs, that were incurred for their legal return, then he is going to be getting two bills from the two solicitors that will be needed to take the landowner to court, which will definitely be a lot more money, than just paying the bill for the return of his goods, as well as the guaranteed fines for fly tipping(which he may not get, if he just pays the bill for the return of his goods) as well, because he is going to be admitting that when he opens his case for not paying the costs..........

I recall when I was driving buses, our depot was out in the middle of nowhere down a country lane. We also served a lot of villages that were pretty issolated. When the "beast from the east" turned up, all of the roads outside our depot and along our routes were totally unpassable. The local authorities weren't interested in any of these roads because they were all lightly used. Fortunately we had the farmers to thank for clearing all of these roads just purely out of their community spirit. I never got upset about being stuck behind a tractor again.

That's funny, all the farmers here use near million dollar equipment to do all the work for them. Almost all of the farmers around my area own up to 10 houses, leave tons of them abandoned just so that they could use the farmland. They are rich as they own a massive homes for themselves, and all these empty homes they buy out they don't rent out and in today's economy here in Canada where no one can find a place to rent, causing rent prices to Skyrocket, is a s***** move. On top of that farmers rape the land, they clear cut beautiful forests so they can grow their grain, wiping out many species and wildlife in the process. What used to be Acres of forests and Wildlife is now just a Barren land of God damn wheat. Why? Greed. Farmers grow food in an overabundance and a lot of it goes to waste but they are still making bank. I'm not about to thank them for destroying the forests, destroying the soil, tainting Water Supplies with their pesticides, then going home to their 2.4 million dollar mansions thinking that they have it hard

In these times of selfishness and greed it is refreshing to see such honesty and generosity extended in performing a public duty. I'm sure that poor man had lain awake at night wondering where he had misplaced 200 tyres, It's easily done,i'm sure we've all been there. But to have a complete stranger return your property right to your door and without expecting so much as a thankyou,is above and beyond. He can sleep soundly now, knowing his precious tyres have found their way home, and all will be peaceful in the house once again.

Poetic justice. Fantastic- well done to the farmer. Never piss a farmer off! I was friendly with two brothers who own a farm, it's been in the same family since 1832. Some years ago, they had problems with people turning up on their land in 4 x 4's and coursing with dogs. The two brothers are massive- both 6ft 5 and heavily built with hands like shovels- not to be messed with. After confronting and warning one group of males and telling them to get off their land and not return, the brothers subsequently discovered the 4 x 4 used by the males back on their land. Without any hesitation, they dug a large pit, pushed the 4 x 4 into it and buried it. *Problem solved. The poaching and coursing stopped.*

Since then the poor ladies' memory seems to have improved & she does not lose things in our street anymore, in fact we have not seen her recently.

Nathan De Bartolo Sometimes even faaak! or fuuurk! Depends on the accent. Also feck but that's more Irish. It's all about the accent and how much you want the word to be taken as offensive or not.
