A friend went to her horses field and caught some fly tippers who were foriegn in the act and when she confronted them they ran off leaving their van behind. She was angry because previous fly tipping had caused injury to one horse. She called both the council and police and they both just fobbed her off depite the van being left. I told her that she didnt follow the right procedure as the first thing she should have done was to puncture all the van tires then call the police and tell them that you think one of the men was carrying what looked like a firearm......... they would have come straight out !

I Respect the man recording. Back in 2015, someone dumped a lot of junk outside my house. I didn't see who it was but I reported it and I was then told that because it's now on my property this now makes me liable for the removal bill. I couldn't believe it! I refused to pay it so it just sat there for years but come 2019, I woke up to find it was gone. The one thing I couldn't understand is why the council expected me to pay the removal bill. The only excuse they had was you don't have evidence of another person dropping it off so it must be your stuff. In other words, they thought I was trying to scam them. I hated this because it was a mixture of furniture, kitchen stuff, and even an old sink. I can just about afford to pay my own bills on my wage so how they thought I could upgrade my home left me feeling dumbfounded. Regardless, I never paid the bill and the junk was eventually removed after almost four years but the people who left it have never returned.

I manage a large but older factory building converted to commercial work/storage space. Found an area around back that was used for a dump by someone. I found an old rotary phone in the pile and searched the number in the center of dial, found a guys names and his address from a neighboring town. Searched the address on Zillow and found the house for sale and all the exact same kitchen cabinets and appliances among other stuff in the virtual house walkthrough were in the pile that was dumped. The listing gave the new owners name that turned out to be an ex tenant of my building. I called the police, they came down to investigate and asked me if I had any "No Dumping" signs to which I said no. The Cop says "then they didn't know they *couldn't* dump there" because of no posted signs! Anyway they called the guy, I still had his info on file, and told him to come clean up his mess within one week, and he did....
