So true. Poor little Farah is so sad & scared. What must have he have been through to push a gentle lady away like that? But from the minute they open the car (could well be after a long day it is so dark & they could just grab him & put him away) the gentleman is so kind I've got tears in my eyes. Thank goodness for the good people of the world, I'm so impressed

That was such a heart melting moment when the man took such great care taking the little one out of the car after knowing how scared it was. Seeing the little one in the room and making a nest to sleep in was so beautiful to watch how it's natural hard wired instincts work.

@Ball Baby His point still stands though. Chimpanzees shouldn't be pets. They deserve better and can be dangerous for the owner. He might have overgeneralized, but he didn't deserve to be called an idiot.

I am curious about why this little guy was in the back of the vehicle alone. Many times when I see you the rescues transporting these animals they are on the lap of one of the rescuers. I understand this one may have been really anxious, too anxious to be held but I didn't see anything that would have indicated that. Are very much admired the work that you do, this is not a criticism, just a question. I know it's the long amount of time and the care that was taken to remove him from the vehicle. Just going slow going at his pace, not just grabbing him and pulling him out ❤️

Hi. In Farah's case he was transferred to our sanctuary. We first met him on arrival, as you see here. Babies who have been through ordeals like he had are sometimes so traumatised and frightened that they do not want to be held or even touched by anyone. It can take a very long time to gain their trust. It may have been that he refused to be near anyone else during the journey. You'll be pleased to know that he is doing fabulously now and is a very confident and happy chimp. Thank you for your interest and questions are always welcome.

The young lady in the video can't remember her name but she does remarkable work with primates ,I've seen her with apes but this is this first time with a baby chimp

While i am watching these videos in my eyes tears come. It is too bad. Small babies they don't world. They killed mother. Humans they don't no relation ship between mother and baby. Please take immediate action and put it jail, then only they understand. Please save the animals and save the world.

I want all of you to take a good look at little Farah during the first few moments of this video. This is the kind of damage these trafficking scum are doing to these poor animals. They not only killed her troop and her mother, they destroyed an important social bond she needed for her future development. She is so frightened and traumatized by her moments before her rescue, she's even afraid of the good people who are trying to help her. Chimpanzees are our closest genetic relatives, and these trafficking slimeballs are murdering them, only to sell their victimized offspring to people who are completely unprepared to take care of them.
