I think that the nationalist parties might not do as well as people think. All this talk could very well help left wing and centrist parties to mobilize a strong turnout amongst their own supporters. Furthermore, many of these parties are having problems. PiS in Poland is disoriented after being ousted from power, and will likely lose many seats compared to five years ago. Even Fidesz in Hungary is now being challanged by a new opposition force. In Italy, Meloni is set to grow her party's support considerably, but almost all of it will likely come at the expense of her own coalition partner Lega. AfD in Germany has stumpled on the final stretch, even getting expelled from their own EU-parliamentary group. It does look like Le Pen's party will do really well in France. As will Wilders PVV in the Netherlands. But is this enough to compensate for the problems the others are having? Time will tell.

It’s a bad precedent to not cooperate with firmly right parties, in general. You’re circumventing democracy and encouraging people to ‘vote harder’ in the future out of resentment or frustration.

These views are not “extreme,” it’s just common sense.

Far right is an inappropriate label for parties whose concern ficus on uncontrolled immigration. On economic policy, many of these parties are centrist or even n the left.
