Far-right firebrand Wilders finds favour in one of poorest Dutch districts | AFP

Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders' stunning election win may have sent shockwaves through Europe's political elite, but in one of the country's poorest districts, his populist message is hitting home. In Oud Crooswijk, in the heart of the port city of Rotterdam, many residents say after years of battling to make ends meet, they hope far-right leader Wilders will change things if he makes it at the helm of the country.

Wilders is not "far right", he is simply an average Dutchman. Historically there is nothing far right is his ideas and as far as most people in Holland were concerned, and for that matter throughout Europe, the sentiments are the same.

I am considered far left. I prolote communism (Trotski version). I promote the interdiction of fortune. I promote laicity (free individual beliefs, but anticlergy: antijudaism, anticlericalism, anti-islamism). I promote liberation of the minds. I favour PVV. Let me tell you, it is definitely not "right" nor even "extreme".

Why do you call a left of center socialist party with an anti immigration policy far right AFP? What is your motive for being so wrong and disingenuous?

Far right firebrand ? Sounds like an insult to us Dutch. 70% of Dutch voters voted for centre-right and far right parties that all had some anti-immigration platform - it is therefore undemocratic to demand that immigration isn't restricted.

Beret is absolutely right because of the following. THE idea of perpetual war between Muslims and non-Muslims is held by jihadists who commit acts of terrorism in the name of jihad. A corollary to this idea is the concept of Dar Al-Islam (Land of Islam) and Dar Al-Harb (Land of War). In the jihadists’ mind, Dar Al- Islam refers to a land ruled by a Muslim ruler and the Shari’ah is held as the rule of the land. In contrast, a land is considered as Dar Al-Harb when it is ruled by non-Muslim or when the Shari’ah is not recognised as the rule of the land. Admittedly, the concept of Dar Al-Islam and Dar Al-Harb has its roots in the works of the classical scholars, which often become the source of reference for jihadists. According to jihadists, however, the use of Dar Al-Harb as a terminology to describe non-Muslim land by classical Muslim scholars suggests that all such lands should be considered as at war until they come under the rule of Dar Al-Islam. Jihadists’ wholesale application of the concept in today’s context without recognising it as time-bound, and their juxtaposition of the concept and the idea of jihad as a perpetual war against non-Muslims, strengthen their binary perspective of “either you are with us or against us”. This unfortunately contributes to painting Islam as a simplistic religion that sees “others” with hostility.

Multiculturalism ONLY ever works where ALL parties concerned agree to live together in peace and recognize the rights of others to exist and that they can believe what they choose to believe and have basic human rights such as education for all etc. Islam stands out as a politico- religio ideology that does not do that. Hence this is why there is social turmoil in virtually any country where the islamics are in significant numbers. I challenge anyone to show me an islamic country that exists peacefully and adheres to human rights. Taliban being a prime example of applied islamism.

I think the actual indigenous people have a right to their country. The left agrees except when the indigenous people are white. When the indigenous people live in the stone age, have no real law, or borders, or institutions, then they benefit by civilized people making proper use of the resources of the area and making wilderness into a country. Such things elevate the stone age people, like the American Indians. This is not to ignore atrocities nor crimes nor evil nor violence, but it is a fact, stone age civilizations are not superior to more evolved and advanced societies, generally. There are exceptions, the Nazis, the democrat party, and other murderous elements found in current society which degrade humanity, but the stone age peoples need civilizing as do the left. In fact, the left and the stone age people have cheap human life as a rule. Thus it is that the culture of a society is what matters. Putin, or Aztecs, or Nazis or democrats all have or are imbued with a culture of death. They all kill. So, one can see the Moslems do not fit into normal European or western cultures. They are essentially stone age by religion, or more aptly cult. One can see the odd things in South Africa as well. A land basically empty until developed, once developed large in migration occurred of people not native to the location. They were primitive people migrating into a culture that did not fit their own. Friction ensued, odd laws developed, in the end it all came tumbling down, what was said to be race was actually culture. So, no electricity anymore, the system breaks down. Cultural clash is what happened. Sure racism is a thing, but it is not limited to one race or color, it exists even in political parties, like the democrats, the most racist people on earth. They hate while people and the white people in that party hate themselves.
