The sprite work is outstanding. Really amazing job done by the artists. Specially noticeable for a 1995 game.

Man everything during the 90s even nowadays was all about anime, sure you had realistic sprites but most JRPGS have anime themed characters thats what i love about japanese games, nobody beats anime!!!!

This game is great. Despite that not many people played it on the arcades near my house back in the day. I like the bell sound of Yagumo.
I love how it looks. It's amazing graphically.
That Monkey Sub Boss fight is a pain in the ass. No lie. The game is just amazing.
Oh, man, this takes back to early days of Neo Geo emulation. I played more than a few rounds of this back in college, still got the Manto Ace theme popping up in my head from time to time. This game's got really good animation for it's time, and it was hilarious finding out this is a spin-off of an RPG series. Good stuff, and thanks for the vid!
The character designs are some of the best. I really wish Tengai Makyo had made its way over to the west in a bigger capacity.
Man, so many obscure arcade fighting games. I'm seeing many of them thanks to you. These are great to watch and check out
Nice game 🙂👍
I remember GameFan Magazine did a massive article about this game, back in the day. I have no idea why they wasted so much ink in Japan-exclusive arcade games what would NEVER see the American shores, but I still pored over every word. This was especially relevant because I barely knew what anime was, only that games like this set my imagination on fire

I remember GameFan for that specifically. They made huge articles on games that would never see the light of day here in the USA, but it fueled my interest in import gaming as a kid. Back in the 90s, being up on that made you hot shit.
looks pretty awesome

I never heard of that game.
Far East of Kabuki Klash shatters my expectations with Spectacular graphics and STUNNING gameplay
If I had discovered this game back in 2007 or 2008, then I would have loved it, and I would have enjoyed watching gameplay of it on YT, because back then, I was crazy about fighting games. plus, the late 2000's was a hell of a time for reliving the 80's and 90's.
On coin op I play it always! Thanks for this video. I need a remastered like Breakers Collection on PC
GREAT sprites!
This needs to be in the Arcade Archives NOW!

Don't know if that can happen or not, since Hudson Soft is already defunct since 2012. Kabuki Clash, and Bloody Roar series, are now long forgotten because of that (and since all of Hudson Soft IP now belongs to Konami, I'm not sure they will try to revive those games or not, since it's Konami we're talking about).
Impressive sprite works and gameplay for it's time.
Esse eu joguei muito no arcade. Jogo sensacional e a versão RPG também 😁✌️
I’ve heard of this one, but never got a chance to play it. Reminds me of the Last Blade
I always considered Last Blade as some sort of spiritual sequel of Kabuki Klash, their styles are very similar Watching this game in the arcades was jaw-dropping back in the day.

Not bad for a child.
I knew this game looked familiar! I think this was covered in GameFan magazine. I remember reading about this game in high school, but never got to play it. I missed out.
Memories
My favourite char of the game avaliable in Mugen
i always remember Manto Ace first move was always his special animal rampage that if you get caught you’re whole life bar is doomed so don’t let this special’s cool down complete coz surely he’ll use it immediately hahhahaha
Awesome Ona More of my's platonic loves AND this waifu it's my lucky character in these magnificent clasic game😍😍😍👍
How can you not like Yagumo?? She's awesome bae bae!!
Not gonna lie, I spam the dragon as Yagumo then the fan spin to kill lucifeller. Yagumo is the best character to fight him but I always try fighting lucifeller with majinmaro because majinmaru attacks looks cool.
Samurai shodown's comical cousin!
The name of the final Boss Lucifereller min 20:25 is a parody of the original name Lucifer (Satán in the Bible) the King Of the Demons and enemy of the God
Yamungo 😋😋😋😋😋😋🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The reason that this needs to be a successor, to display everything, that they couldn't, this game, also needs to be a part of some sort of collection, if they don't have one already..
Love this game! Have the aes cart! Snk
Liked it more than Samurai Shodown personally 😅 beat it a while ago
Geese:.... She use same skill... (air reppuken)
Do a Kabuki Ittoryoudan playthrough of Mikoshi.
This is such a great gameplay how do you do the rougaterin or i could say the spining fan attack correctly cuz i always get jt wrong
I used to beat it with Kabuki.
It's a masterpice game, such as The Last Blade or Ninja Master👍
An arcade game BYYYYYYYYYY HADISON!
LOL This game sprites graphics kick ass capcom street fighter zero , and best frames Animations to
The only fighting game char where you get more damage from blocking her special (the Buddha statue) She was my main
i like the Hermit ninja
3 years before Bloody Roar.
After seeing sengoku manjimaru in dream mix TV World fighters and how well he Plays i wish sakurai put him in the next smash game After everything that still a wish i know Konami lack of fighters in smash but if he put anyone it will Bomberman and maybe goémon and alucard as a third Castlevania rep
wow..., Thats Sentenel sprites origin came from..
Games like this, need to be more common and also, need to have a bigger audience, either by, remastered or a reboot or a straight up sequel, if it's possible or maybe a successor to this game..

Hudson Soft milking Momotaro Dentetsu in Japan (which is now best selling non Nintendo IP in Japan) and Red Company is dead since 15 years, so yeah this franchise even if is still very popular in Japan is dead for good. Konami aqcuired Hudson Soft and they hhave rights for this franchise, but knowing Konami, they do nothing.
Never heard if this.
I love 💓 this game & double dragon neo Geo they cool
Tsunade like tsunade name from naroto
LIKE good game too
0:01 HUDSON
Sengoku Manjimaru (天外魔境)???
Yagumo the Madonna feminist
They could put it on the Nintendo switch E-shop.
