Everything is in and everything is out - everything is trendy and it isn't. We've come to this point in music. Mainstream doesn't have it anymore and anyone saying otherwise is basing a generalized opinion on ppl who base nostalgia as better than what is on the radio or mainstream nowadays. It disregards the genres and subgenres that are all popular right now. literally every genre is popular right now.

Far Caspian has no idea how this song's healing my soul

Wow... This popped right when I clicked on KZread's homepage. It sounds ethereal and calming. It almost reminds me of my non-existent trip to a New York museum, or a morning drive in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the vast sea and the towering trees. It's beautiful how music can take you somewhere you've never been and immerse you right at that moment.

This whole EP makes me feel like i'm the main character of a coming of age movie and i'm loving it

With gnarwolves esp. CRU and Funemployed are great albums. Bloody Knees are really good, Eagulls are really good, Nai Harvest aren't around anymore but their back catalogue is incredible.

This album brings me to my old childish memories that i have completely forgotten. I close my eyes and I see these images pop up instantly.

I literally play this album for everything I do, cleaning, studying I play it at work for my kids since there are no curse words the kids love it it’s so cute to see them bobbing their little heads to it 😂🥰 it’s just easy listening music 🙏🏽

in moments like this where you can feel the panic and desesperation around the streets, I like to zone out even for a bit and listen to this type of music.

Now, everytime one these songs play, I'm taken back to those long car drives, strolling along alleys, the taste of that matcha ice cream from the kiosk by the street, walking around in Don Quijote never knowing what you'll find, and the thrill of seeing Tokyo from below from the Sky Tree. When the warm breeze hits me i revert to this track. Truly art.

Still remember years ago when this album had less than 10k views. The album was released in 2016 or 2017, can't remember for sure, but it's quite a long time ago. 'Blue' got the highest view at like 4-5 millions at the time, but the whole album stayed at like around 10k for years. Then out of sudden in 2021, it jumps to millions, then 10 millions, and now 20 millions. No wonder why Joel is in shock. I'm really glad that more and more people appreciate this genre of music. 'Astoria' and 'The Heights' are also my favorite songs.

Lets go Outside is an absolute masterpiece. The mixing of the vocals in the first half kept them clean and pairs them well with the frontal instrumental which may be louder than the vocals themselves but doesnt change the melodic patterns throughout. Then the beautiful second half where the vocals are muddled by a loud chorus behind ranging throughout the high and low end of the spectrum, getting a heavenly and airy sound to come off of them this time instead through its use of reverb and space. Masterclass in mixing. The use of a DnB style beat on this works surprisingly well too. And DONT YOU DARE get me started on Finding my Way Home

Love that feeling

This song is like my daughter. Golden curls, blue sparkly eyes, that one dimple she has when she smiles. My essence, my soul, my life.

This will always be one of my favorites indie albums of all time. It really means something special. Along with a bunch of other albums, it marked a line in which after so I started to appreciate music in a different, deeper, emotional way. This albums means my youth, my transition from being a teenager to becoming a young adult. It hits hard and it reminisces different episodes of my life. What a gem.

I can relate to that so well, I've just begun my transition over from teenager to young adult and this music along with Current Joys, VACATIONS, and Surf Curse are carrying the nostalgia of my teenage years. Skating huge hills with my friends in the middle of the night with music like this playing loudly in my ears. I only wish it could have stayed that simple... So now I just sit here and listen to this to help remember all of the good times.

I finally realised there's a part in Let's go outside that sounds like Under Pressure! It's a very pretty album. Finding my way home really touches me.

Idk how best to explain this - but have you ever had an album that finds you during a really significant part of your life or big change, and the album starts to almost represent that time? And when you listen to it in the future, it takes you right back to that time or place? I've been in one of those transitional stages lately, to where life feels almost surreal, and this album found me right at the start of it on a really special night. And i can already feel that this is going to be one of those albums :') thank you

Helloooo from South Africa ❤️🌍 this song has a mellow, positive feel to it. It's whimsical and like a gentle breeze. I pull this up when ever I'm on a road trip or just chilling at a bonfire under the open sky at the ocean. Zanks you Far Caspian ❤️

This album makes life beautiful

I used to listen to my playlist during my school internship. Everyday in the morning, I would walk up alone the long sunny path to the biology department while I listen to this magnificence of an album. My experience was enhanced by the fact that I was in a completely new place, far from my parents and it was my first time living alone and it felt refreshing.

This music makes me want to dance around my room wearing a free flowing summer dress with wine in hand smiling and kissing my loved one or my cat while feeling forgiveness for my past and hopeful for my future. ♡ I can also imagine kids running outside in the wilderness with the sunlight beaming on them through the trees smiling and laughing while others ride their bikes to their secret hide out. ♡

What a lovely scene to describe :)

I just feel like this is the lifestyle perfect album I have heard since high schooL. Like, I cannot think of another album - at least in the last decade - where each song felt not only good, but great. Like, I remember growing up listening to albums, emotive albums at night, and not always they would be perfect, but always hoping they would be, and sometimes getting rewarded. This album feels like that reward, executive instead of their being months between the instances of perfection - there have been years. I simply cannot keep playing this whole album repeatedly. And I love a lot of different music - basically everything except heavy metal and trap and some of the really hard rap (and not necessarily including the pop/Top 100 rap, which some of which I like), but I just can’t get over how this is the first album I’ve fallen in love with in this personal way since probably mid-way theory high school, I think. Or maybe in college. But definitely not after that. So great job Far Caspian! Great cover art too btw!

@Seth Williams Hey there, your love for this band is something great, music is as valuable as the deepest emotion it provokes. I'd just keep in mind that while music is subjective, there are objective ways to measure quality, and while thats something which Caspian has a lot of, they don't excel in ilustrating the whole arrange of emotions that a deep understanding of theory gives you access to.

I'm a Graphic Designer. I love listening to this album when I'm in Creating Mode.

This album has been keeping me going. I travel 5 days a week, 2 cities a week for work. Always away from my wife and kids trying to make it happen for them. When i wake up in a strange timezone and with no friends in sight, i put this album on and it brings me up. Thank you. So much.

This music is life-changing it has some secret medical properties I love it so much

I wonder if I will ever meet someone who listens to music like this. And I wonder what kind of person will she be. And I wonder what will we ever talk about. Skip all the small talk perhaps. And get right to grooving to this music and just let it all flow.

Some of the best music I've found and listened to was 95% come across by accident or music like... All hidden gems. I've often wondered if it sounds the same to you the musicians as it does to us the listening fan base. Probably not. That's what makes it ones own version of a song. Thanks to all the musicians who give life to another world through music.
