Fanuc AC servo run with EMC2

Ғылым және технология

Testing out running a Fanuc AC servo (a 10S) using EMC2, the bldc library, and an AMC drive. This is only using the C1,C2,C4 and C8 signals out of the Fanuc encoder into EMC2, then taking hall signals back out to the drive.

Hey man nice work there. I am retrofitting a Cincinatti Arrow 500 VMC in my shop right now and it has AC servos running off +/- 10V control analog. I am using the Mesa cards 5i25/7i77 combo and so far it has been a SUPER easy setup . Not sure what drives you intend to use but if you plan to use the original drives with these motors or a new drive and these motors it is a simple and easy setup. I also believe they have cards that can accept resolver based feedback into LinuxCNC. LinuxCNC is NICE
