So glad you enjoyed Between Wrath & Mercy, The Ballad of Never After, and The Serpent & the Wings of Night!! Definitely my top favs as well! 😆👏👏👏😭😭💜🖤💜🖤 I can't wait to check out Court of Blood and Bindings and Lady of Darkness. They both sound so good- especially CoB&B. I dont get to read much about one of the main characters not being able to speak. Its so refreshing and different! Aaaah!! Cant wait! Thanks a bunch! 📖☕🙊💕

I just finished Fourth Wing yesterday. I loved it!! I think it’s hard to say it’s the next ACOTAR or any other big series, but I don’t think it’s bc of the quality of the story. I could easily see this becoming tht big of a series if the other books are as good as this one was. If you think about it, the first books in ACOTAR and TOG were not the strongest in the series. They were good but no where close to as strong as the rest of the series. Both series had to build and develop to become the greatness tht they are. This is what makes Fourth Wing such a standout. It is Rebecca Yarros’ first attempt at fantasy, and it’s the first book in the series. To start off a series this strong is so exciting! If the series is able to build and get better over time then I can see putting it in the conversation with TOG, ACOTAR, or FBAA. I 100% think the potential is there and I am so excited to see how it progresses.

So many fantastic recs, many of which I've never heard of before so THANK YOU! 🥰 I am floored by how much I loved Fourth Wing, and if the rest of the series is as good as the first book I can definitely see it becoming one of my favorite fantasy romance series of all time. Same for Carissa Broadbent's Crowns of Nyaxia series (btw there is way more romance in Ashes and the Star-Cursed King and it's amazing IMO 🔥). Also, Manacled is a MASTERPIECE and definitely counts as a fantasy romance in its own right as far as I'm concerned as well. 👌

Great video! I really like how you actually describe the magic systems because I never can understand them when I'm reading fantasy haha 😂 I'll have to check some of these out in the future!

Just found book 3 of the Melissa K. Roehrichs books in my mom’s library. Deciding should go on the hunt for books 1 and 2 since this would be my first fantasy or just read Book 3 lol

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the serpent sequel. I do recommend reading six scorched roses before the 2nd book. It's a novella and you see the same characters show up again.

Ooh i looooooooved Manacled! It was so worth the read - even with how long it was! Then again, I'm a huge dramione fan lol. I just finished The Coven and that last 10% totally made the book for me. Ended up really enjoying it and I can't wait for the next one. Haven't read any of the other books so thank you so much for the recs. Glad I found your channel ♥

Two of the books you had recommended is in my top 5 this year (Fourth Wing and The Serpent and the Wings of Night) Another book that I loved is actually a novella of the Crown of Nyaxia series, it is 6 scorched Roses. I can't recommend this novella enough! I freaking loved it! I did read the novella first before The Serpent, it was easier to understand the plat and world building and the romance (slow burn) * Chef's Kiss!* These characters ( Vale and Lillith) are in the second book which I am currently reading. Afterwards I will be reading Belladonna which I heard good reviews about.

Is the Fae Isles series complete? I saw there's 3 books and a novella out. I'm super interested after your synopsis but am horrible at keeping up with unfinished series, so I tend to wait until they're completed or the last book is about to release before I start them so I can binge in one go XD

Please read The relentless trilogy by Karen Lynch & the Matefinder trilogy by Leia Stone they are so so good I can’t recommend them enough

I haven't read much fantasy romance this year but what I've read I'm obsessed! First I read the kingmaker chronicles by Amanda Bouchet. Then I read A soul to keep by Opal Reyne. Then I read The longing of lone wolves by Lana Pecherczyk and the next 3 books in that series (the wolves) were amazing! And lastly I read the two Tessa Hale series that are completed. Those are reverse harrem and they were everything!

@@HonestFiction I'm waiting for the final book to release in September so I'll read them all together. But I want to read them so bad! Right now I'm reading Cursed crowns by Catherine Doyle and it's amazing so far. The first book in the series was 5 stars and it looks like the second will also be.

I’ve recently read the first 2 book in the Heir Comes To Rise Series and I’m loving it, also less fantasy romance and more angry female but I adored A Portrait In Shadow so much and no one has read it (yes it’s historical but the most intriguing time period)

Jess Wisecup is releasing a vampire romance

Violet's not really that fleshed out. She just seems that way simply because she's not a completely blank slate. The problem is that, honestly, it might have been better if she WERE a blank slate since the character we DID get is so insufferable. She is easily the worst thing about this book.
