Okay, but imagine asking your 14 year old son how far he went on his first date and he casually responds with "we just docked"

I like that the Thistlesprings share a voice.

Yeah, Brennan doesn't exactly announce or differentiates who's talking, except for one time. I kinda had to take matters in to my own hands haha

Having had parents who said "whatever you're doing we'd rather you did it in the house where we know you're safe, and here's some condoms while we're talking about it" this captures how uncomfortable that interaction was so perfectly

I loved the animation of Gorgug going up the steps. I never considered that Gorgug might have trouble climbing up steps meant for gnomes but it makes perfect sense and I'm glad you thought of it

The first time I watched this episode I was walking home from the laundromat late at night, and when he went “you docked,” I dropped all my laundry and everything right on the ground because I was laughing so hard.

There is something so insanely funny about the sweetest parents of entire bad kids just excitedly asking "what base" to their fifteen year old son

Gorgug emoting with his ears is so good. Literally never gets old. Big little guy.

Gorgug's parents are the fucking best. Love them so much. I love how expressive everyone is, Gorgug's ears sold me, the exchanges of Digby and Wilma were so on point and just felt right, and the detail of Gorgug leaping over the railing of the stairs--that was such a good pose, at like 3:06. Just... solid work. Loved it.

oh my god thank you so much!!! this is so detailed and touching!!! :D I'm baffled.

I was super surprised by how ANIMATED! This was! Usually animatics are far more lax with frames but this was VERY animated, and the expressions made me laugh, and Gorgug is SO CUTE! The awkward sheepish smile, the scrambling up the stairs but being too big and falling over himself.

This is halfway to being a full cartoon. I am amazed. Hootgrowl!

I’m obsessed with the dad talking with just his mustache, so endearing

This is amazing! They're all so expressive and alive the whole time! Gorgug climbing the stairs was hilarious. You can really see your improvement over time! If you're looking for a request/idea for a new project, I think bringing the pure unbridled chaos that is Swifty the Gingerbread Man to animation would be an excellent idea. Maybe that first ambush?? or "What are you smoking?" "A CIGARETTE"

this is just *mwah* perfection. I absolutely adore the expressions you give Gorgug and the Thistlesprings, especially Gorgug’ ear movements. It’s so good and I adore it, it gives so much personality to the characters. I would love to know what program you used to make this, it’s so cool.

I don't use a program really. I just draw the individual frames in a Photoshop knock off, and then put them in an elaborate slideshow. Kinda like a photo album, but if you saw each photo for 0.1 seconds. Glad you enjoyed!!

This is a complete delight start to finish, but I think my very favorite thing is how expressive you made Gorgug’s ears. They add so much to the animation with just a little movement! Awesome work.

The fact that Digby and Wilma are better at the birds and the bees talk than most schools is just impeccable

I love the detail of Gorgug's fingernails being painted black.

This is more of an animation than an animatic imo. So much effort and work! And it's amAZING! The way Gorguk moves is so fucking amazing and on point! So much characterization and life is in every single character's expressions and still poses, let alone their motions! My favorite parts are easily when the parents take turns speaking and when Gorguk goes up the stairs, I think that's where you nailed the personalities best! I'm seriously amazed by your work! Please keep it up, you're doing such cool stuff!
