Great Video , Hat's off to Animators.🎉👏 It covers all the aspects that are Present in Turbine and generator , It is more understanding by watching through animation, which u can't understand deeply by watching in real life .

Wonderfully made video capturing all the aspects of making it. Salute to the creators who will help engineering and non engineering learners a quick and comprehensive idea of how hydral power plans are made. Too good for the construction workers to understand the purpose of their work.

I notice how both metric and US/imperial units have been used: 'the 61-foot rotor was lowered in place leaving a 19-millimeter gap'. Wasn't it decided two or three decades ago (after that space craft failed and an air crash occurred be cause of the same confusing results of using dual standards) that it was easier and safer to use metric for any type of construction that has scientific aspects to it? Or was that just for the purpose of this video?

I wouldn’t wanna be the Crane operator dropping those parts down there. One wrong move and you can dent it or mess it up then your ass is GRASS! lol

Why are there no multi stage turbines ?? Answer the tech is available from RDP MARINE AUSTRALIA The techs will say the issues are turbine surging OR to much backpressure OR the dissolved gasses issue ALL are nonstarters So were is the price drop you can have by fitting this item ?? YES YOUKNOW WHY

Can't we store the water again that turned the turbine through a tunnel or a canal and forced back to the dam water using powerful water pumps?may be iam late on this.

the whole electricity produced willnot be sufficient for brining them back to that height.there will be no gain

Yes what you are referring to is pumped storage hydro, unfortunately not all turbine can act as pump because pumped storage plants have upper and lower reservoir, the plant should have constructed in that way to allow that kind of operation.

@@aswajithu during peak hours if the generation capacity if it's not sufficient or if there is excess generation pumped storage plant act as generators or huge pump loads to make or consume power.

Horrible music, very unclear presentation, too much computer graphics. Obviously the maker of this video is a genius in computer graphics but not so good a presenter. I give it 3 out of 10.
