This is actually a remake of a remake as proved by the name of the checkpoint, "Throwback Galaxy", which is a Super Mario Galaxy remake of Whomp's Fortress.

This is a really cool mod. I especially like how the cloud platforms were used instead of the original sliding ones.

That's why its referred to in the mod as "Throwback Galaxy" instead of "Whomp's Fortress."

A Whomps galaxy without little Whomps Huh.

You know what? Stairface Ogres are the Whomps of this game, so when you can’t find Whomps, no reason to not use Stairface Ogres as substitutes, because you can. Finally someone sees that Stairface Ogres are Whomps. In fact who says they aren’t related. First off, they are both stone creatures. Second, they are both based on Japanese mythological creatures known as Yokai. The whomp is based on Nurikabe, and the Stairface Ogre is based on Oni. Two different types of Yokai.

The best part is the concept that u actually have health in both games

The hardware exploit is still available on a majority of devices, cfw is even possible on the current fw with that. So no reason why the scene should died

you should check out C_cat's mod! I played his mod few days ago and it is in one of my videos.

This isn't Whomps fortress it's throwback galaxy because the purple coins are star bits

Modders should replace ruined kingdom with a throwback kingdom that has peach's castle with every level and also other leves from maroo sunshine or galaxy, that kingdom is useless
