So much to appreciate in this layout! Fantastic! The operating turntable is great! I appreciate your slower, more realistic operating speeds. I've seen many fine layouts with trains running easily 2-3x scale speed. Some still could be slower, in my opinion, unless trains become unreliable any slower.

I would like to see more detail in this layout. THAT IS A JOKE, FOLKS...JUST A JOKE. This layout is pretty near perfect. I could just stand and watch this for hours. What a great job

One of the few layouts, which is made really worthy. Beautiful trees, adequate speed and train lengths. Realy good level. However, I can't understand why you don't make a general plan of the layout and don't give any information about where it is located.

Generally what I do not like on Pilentum videos are missing descriptions. In this case: "An amazing model train layout with beautiful steam locomotives." is empty phrase, in addition misleading because 75% of the video are diesel trains and scenery. Wouldn´t be better to state some details where the train layout is placed, if it is open to public, link to model railroad club webpages, etc.?

Know that this must be one HUGE layout and it really loks fantastic, but if you dont mind me asking, with so many trains sometimes running all at once, how is the main operator of the layout able to tell if any of the trains that are actually moving at the time, if one of them actually lets say derails, does he just how to watch every train with his own eyes, or does he have cameras and monitors setup all along the layout? I have to say I just LOVE your layout, and laugh out loud at the "sexy" scenes you have incorporated, it really add "life" to the layout, BUT I must also tell you that I notice that almost a signature trademark of all the videos of this layout is that the focus is VERY POOR on many ocassions. It is especially noticable when you do a close up of a lovely steam loco which has loads of fine detail, but even the initial close up is not "IN FOCUS" correctly, and when you use the zoom to pull back, it really does get even worse. Maybe it is a limitaton of the camera gear you are using, but due to this problem, you really do not do justice to this layout with the camera work that I have watched. I really hope that you will take this comment to heart, and adjust whatever is needed in the photography area to overcome this problem so that we can all REALLY ENJOY the marvelous work you have obviously done on this layout. A quick question also - Am I correct in sayig that you use brass track quite a bit ? If so, can you explain your reasoning behind that choice ? I use exclusively Nickel Silver on my "still under development" Swiss / Austrian / German" layout which is far smaller than yours of course, but takes up some 22 ft x 14ft, and is a 2+ level layout with 7 hidden storage roads beneath the station area, all being controlled via Ardjuino based electronics that I have developed myself. I take it this is some kind pf joke? WHERE'S THE STEAM LOCO?

Advertising steam locos shouldn't start out with a scene of a diesel loco or an electric loco. Get to the steam. Your scenery is perfect, just show more steam locos at the beginning. Diesels turn me OFF. I love the era of steam locomotives with accompanying detail.
