Alan will miss the World Cup
Diagonal starting line-up of the Brazilian national team in the League of Nations Alan Souza tore the Achilles tendon in his right leg.
The Brazilian national team has suffered a serious loss in the ongoing League of Nations. Having been injured during Friday's victory over Iran, Alan underwent an MRI a day later, which confirmed the rupture of the Achilles tendon in his right leg. The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) announced that Diagonal will undergo surgery and will be out of the game for up to six months, and will also miss the World Cup, which will be held in August in Poland and Slovenia. The top scorer of "Selesao" VNL-2022 will return to his homeland on Monday to begin treatment for an injury.
Alan left the court at the end of the first set. He was preparing to serve when he felt pain in his right leg.

I was so impressed by the way this kid carried such a huge burden after such a shitty situation (his brother's injury). Hope he still gets a lot of playing time in the world championship even with Wallace's return

our other four OP are injuried or coming back from Injuries. Alan is injuried, Roque is coming back from a very serious one, Abouba too, and Franco, who was the second opposite for VNL, got a injuries during the competetion. Darlan was only our third option, and Wallace is the only one left 🫠🫠

Sim ,eu sou super fã do Wallace para mim o melhor oposto do mundo na era dele ,mas acho que é o momento de Darlan o garoto está no nível altíssimo como os atuais jovens campeões Italianos quem acompanha vôlei sabe o nivel que eles jogam na Europa , talvez se Darlan tivesse jogado Leal e Lucarelli nao teriam sido sobrecarregados tanto nas bolas de definição tá aí pra todo mundo ver. Impressionante a impulsão dele passa fácil por cima dos bloqueios .
