Did I catch early in the video you saying Franklin has already been born? What are the thoughts that he is responsible for actually saving the F4 and is the one who "transports" them to the MCU. He certainly is powerful enough to pull that off....

maybe decades from now....if they throw a disposable silver surfer at the audience, and try and flip it back to the main silver surfer later on...odds are they confuse a lot of non-comic book fans....I guess we shall see. Clearly though, the MCU is gonna be a mess...with Kang being recast, or abandoned....they had to recast Black Panther, they are trying to recast all kinds of characters, new hawk eye, new ironman, new black widow, at least new Captain America has some continuity .....if they are throwing in a disposable Silver Surfer...no way casual fans keep up or stay invested. Probably would be best to just roll with the alternate silver surfer and keep some continuity.

Martin Wallstrom from Mr Robot would make a great Dr Doom. He's 9 years younger than Pedro Pascal but Reed always looked older than Victor.

Julia Garner as a version of the Silver Surfer is going to feel very VERY strange for me because I loved her as Ruth Langmore in Ozark. So I really hope they let her have a lot mode creative control over the character if she's not going to remain as the surfer going forward.

Not sure if it's possible but James Earl Jones as Galactus would be awesome! I'm glad they're saving Norrin Radd to be the 616 Surfer. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing him appear in his own movie.

Be interesting to see how this all ties into the 616 universe without the TVA

The TVA is involved…hell, they’re a central plot point in DP3, and Loki season two ties into Ant-Man 3.

That was my first thought when I heard marvel wasn’t using Norrin. While yes I am slightly upset because Norrin is the OG surfer, I’d be more upset knowing they killed him off in the film he was introduced

Same, I was initially kinda upset that it wouldn't be Norrin, but after a little I realized I would be more upset if they wasted him, again, in a movie that's mostly not in the MCU anyways either. I respect the decision now and I'm hoping we see him again down the line, but done justice this time.

Charlie, I so appreciate your insight on everything Marvel! You’ve helped me reserve judgement on this version of Silver Surfer which I had an idea this might be the direction their going in. I can also see Ben Mendelson playing Dr Doom…so what if the Talos Skrull was his face…would it be possible that Talos may have seen Doom and adapted his look? Who knows what’s been happening in the cosmos? With the way Marvel has been crossing the streams so to speak…lol! They should do it!

It's no big deal. She's Noron Rads "wifey" like Charlie basically said. They're just switching the storyline around it a twist of fate switch not FORCED DEI 😂. Now especially if it goes like Charlie says and she'll die in Fantastic 4 then Norn Rad's going to hear about this somehow get her powers and go ham on Galactus's ass! It's been teased that Galactus eats not planets but timelines of the Multiverse in their new F4 movie. Little basic Surfer history if you don't know already. Jack Kirby invented the Silver Surfer specifically to be just a herald of Galactus. Jack Kirby who's Surfer is more robotic in mind and pretty much does everything Galactus said. Not even sure if Kirby's original Silver Surfer rebelled against Galactus at all but his backstory was much different. Then sometime in the late 60s early 70s Jack Kirby walks some say fired but that's neither here nor there. Because after Kirby left Stan Lee essentially retconned the Silver Surfer. Stan Lee created a new origin story that most ppl know. That's where the Norn Rad and Shambhala origin story comes from. That's Stan Lee's version of the Silver Surfer. Stan Lee gets mad credit though too. He's the one that turned Silver Surfer into a solo comic dynamo! If you don't know it Stan Lee's version basically goes Norn Rad's world is going to be destroyed by Galactus. He bargains or sacrifices himself up to Galactus to save his whole world and his love Shambhala or whatever it is lol. All Marvel is doing is making "Wifey" AKA Shambhala. She's apparently the one who makes the deal or sacrifices herself with/to Galactus not Norn Rad. ... yet. It's really just a twist of fate switch than anything else. I don't see an agenda thank you for being senseable too Charlie. Not to mention that would make perfect sense to kill off the first Surfer to save or sacrifice herself to save at least the F4 from the incursions Galactus will now be eating instead of worlds ( rumored ). That way it will all work into the timeline correctly just like Charlie said. Not for nothing or to be pervey but the Surfer is going to be completely CGI. What's her face is doing a voice over like Perdo Pascal does in the Mandolorian. He's never in that suit rolling around in the dirt protecting a half robotic Grogu puppet pretending to shoot laser guns and fight with blue or green sticks calling it a Dark saber , pew, pew, pew 👈🏻👉🏻👈🏻. That's never Pascal 🤣. Disney doesn't deny it. 95% of that show is voice overwork only for Pascal. Anyway countine on Charlie lol

Galactus feeds on planets that have Celestial embryos, Kang offers a solution to the Celestials to deal with Galactus. Kang has the Celestials craft tech for him- Ten Rings, Quantum Bands, etc.) from Stormbreaker- it is destroyed and reforged as Kang tech. The Eternals rebel. Thor Ascends to All-Father and the Kang Tech is scattered across time and space. The Council of Kangs kill each other off, absorbing each other's power and causing incursions and the collapse of reality. Dr. Doom intervenes and harnesses their power for himself. We should see variants of Kang in three or four Marvel projects like Shang Chi 2 and Thor 5. We should also build up Dr. Doom as a villain or make cameos in Fantastic Four, Black Panther 3, Armor Wars, Dr. Strange 3, and Children's Crusade. Set those villains up on a collision course for the title of the God Emperor. Have Avengers 5 become a version of AVX based on the final incision. Doom walks away from the winner with the creation of Battleworld. Doom should find a way to harness the power of Galactus, Scarlet Witch, and Loki and steal the collective power of the Council of Kangs.

The Shalla-Bal news was kind of an "emergency", and the explanation was "awesome". I now understand.

3:12 So basically.... In the main 616 Earth timeline, they got their advanced technology in the early 2000s. But on the Earth where this Fantastic Four team came from, they are at that same level, just a whole lot earlier in the timeline, in the late sixties and early seventies.

This video literally made me have a glimmer of hope in the upcoming FF movie..I think the way you broke it down makes a lot of sense and it got me excited after being turned off upon learning that Norin Radd was not going to be the Silver Surfer in this movie..But, if the movie's plot goes the way you broke it down in this video, the story would actually be very interesting and even, devastating in the best way..

I don't think 616/1999999 have their version of fantastic four. This is the MCU/MCMs version of fantastic four whom we are being introduced to. Coz if Galactus is a universe eater, then there can be only one ryt? So perhaps they completely change the Radd origin in MCU, Just like they did with warlock

So Charlie, query. Doesn't this seem remarkably similar to the setup in Fantastic Four 337-341? In that series, by Walt SImonson, the future Galactus basically consumes the entire universe. It also involves time travel, the TVA, multiple Kangs. In the end, the future time line where Galactus WAS the universe, is reined in, because of the Ultimate Nullifier. What if... Reed Richards fails. The Universe is consumed. But just like Galactus being the sole survivor of the previous universe, it's the Fantastic Four and they want to make amends?

I want them to reference MF Doom when they introduce his character into the movies. An alternate timeline (or even sacred timeline 😍) version where that is the definitive version of Doom would be mind blowing. Plus a nod to an incredible performer who was inspired by the baddest villain of all. His name’s Doom.

Cool Silver Surfer is one of my favorite marvel characters. One of my first comic books I ever owned

I feel like if they cast Christoph Waltz as an older Dr Doom would be perfect. He would develop that character so much AND Dr. Doom has sooooo many layers that only an actor of that caliber would be able play, he might even give us deeper layers we do not see and make us root for him in the movies.

Can’t wait to see 1960s marvel universe of fantastic, four to Stanlee, Jack Kirby, and seeing the iconic characters finally in their accurate appearances

Mads Mikkelsen is ideal for Dr. Doom; a great actor, his voice and accent are perfect, he plays great hardcore villains, and he appears comparable in age to Pedro Pascal.

Mads Mikkelsen was the perfect choice wished that was their choice for Dr. Doom

I'm okay if this is an alternate reality so they can have a different take on the character and then when they finally come to the main MCU and we encounter the actually Norrin Radd There's nothing wrong with playing around with different versions of characters just like they're going to be doing with many variants of characters as long as we get to see him and need a prominent character in the MCU I'm totally fine with them using an alternate version. This is my favorite character I know he's scared of some people but my favorite character and I want to see him done proper in the NCU but if they want to play around with some stuff that's outside of the primary universe that is the place to do it. In the main universe there's already a strong amazing female character in the silver surfer comics called Nova and she's amazing and I'd love to see her show up as well.

Mads Mikkelsen could do either Galactus or Doctor Doom I think he be suited to one of these characters I sway more towards him doing Doctor Doom as for Galactus that's a hard one.

It makes so much sense considering they’re supposedly starting in an alternate universe before moving to the MCU, which is about to be rebooted after the multiverse saga. It seems like the goal is to do the alternate version of Silver Surfer first before they introduce the consistent version, after the multiverse alternates angle has been done too much

They should have used Nova instead of Silver Surfer and called her something like Terra Nova to differentiate from the other Nova.

I think this may be the best way to bring the First Family into the MCU, now as for the surfer, bringing her into the film is a gamble. But if the story is done correctly, and close to the source material, it could be amazing! Thank you Charlie!!

Excellent suggestion. They really did not develop him well in the Bond movies. But he has that voice that goes equally well good guy or bad. A trait often required in Doom and in many ways may be his scariest ability. Remember as a kid (50s-60s) thinking who should he sound like in my head. I settled on the actor who played Captain Nemo in the Disney Movie 20,000 Leaques...
