Bought the black one a couple of months ago and it became my favorite watch. Wear it almost daily and just fits great on my 6.2” slim wrist. It looks great and I love how it wears on me!

The 44mm is too big. This 37mm would be just a tiny bit too small for me. They just need a 40mm. IMO. I too have the NY0040, it’s the closest one I could find, at 41.5 it wears fine but I still would love to see one in 40mm.

Once the prices come down, I might consider ditching my full sized BN0150 for this one and also getting the rose gold one for my wife.

Once they release a green one with a bracelet, I will pick one up. I'm not crazy about the date at the 4 o'clock position, but since the crown is also at 4:00, it sort of works.

Nice looking watch. Does it come with day/date. Or does the Seiko come a little bigger? I'm not at all familiar with model numbers.

Thanks for this video. Especially helpfull was the weight of this watch being shown as well. At just 64 grams it should wear comfortably. Size wise I would like a 40mm version of this watch. Still considering this piece. The full size version at 44mm and 100 grams is too large and much too heavy for my preferences. Enjoy your holiday.

I think this is really catered for the women and they will soon come with a slightly larger version for men. A 38,39,40 mm watch would please many men (and women).

Was looking at the new, smaller 5KX but stumbled on this too! My Citizen field watch has never let me down so I might have to pick this up.

I think this watch is more interesting in terms of specs. However, the 5KX actually looks quite stunning too.

I love my (same, but larger) BN0150. Just bought the ‘pink’ version for my wife. For those looking, a similar Seiko is the SNE569. I have the basic black version, and love it, too. It is 38.6mm. Slightly larger than the watch reviewed. Thank you for an excellent review!

My similar Seiko is actually the rubber strapped SNE571. Similar to the reviewed watch, but a little bigger.

Hello, It's really great video and guide to get one of these watches. I saw it on the Citizen Store and love it. My only concern is that it has got a mineral crystal glass. So, Can you please say your experiences that does it get scratch easily?? How is your one right now. Thanks

Thank you! I returned the 37mm because it didn’t “grow” on me. With the regular 0040 I do have scratches on one of my 4 versions. Thus there is a chance of scratches however small. I also have the SKX009 and Orient Ray. They also have (hardened) mineral crystals and no scratches. Personally I prefer sapphire crystals for my “office diving”.

I have the larger size in black two words Love it!

Great review. Looks perfecf on your wrist. Once the price drops this may be my next pickup. Quartz is great for grab and go weekends.

The 44mm version has 30mm dial diameter (apart from the bezel) which itself is tiny. Wonder what this watch's dial size excluding the bezel

I found a 300 M Glycine Combat Sub running a Sellita SW200-1. Beautiful 2 tone and for my 16.5 C wrist, the 36 mm diameter is awesome. I have never had a Tuna. This would be perfect and even though I own 3 watches with alleged 300 M none are ISO rated. Fine review…you might need Citizen to send you a Finder’s Fee, lol 😂

You are paid on a per job basis for sending paying customers to the AD or manufacturers site, of a given brand. It is also a business that sends scouts to various businesses to steal talent from their competitors. This led to “Non-Compete” clauses in employee’s contracts. I no longer have the SKX013. What I can say: for most men the 013 will be a better and more masculine fit than this Citizen due to the 20mm lug width vs 18mm, 38mm diameter vs 36mm and so on.

Hi, although the lug width is 20mm on each case I guess it won’t fit. Because the endlink is designed specifically for this specific Omega case.

I want to see the gold one on a grey/black strap. 🤔

23 years ago 36.5 mm was considered big for men. I have an eco drive that’s 23 years old and still going strong and it’s 36mm. Everyone at the time marveled at the big size. lol.

I bougth one with crown at eigth. It Is very confortable. It Is a rougth watch despite its tyny size. Neither complain

Great review. How is the lume? The big brother’s is great but would like to know of Citizen has kept that with this model. I think a 40mm would be perfect. Dare to dream. I don’t know if you notice but the handset changed on this model. Small detail. Keep up the great content!

Great development; the size, specifications and Eco-Drive makes it a potentially fantastic sports-casual-beater. Of course the "women's" is nonsense: this design and specially this black variant has nothing exclusively feminine to it.

I was so happy when it came out. Then tried it on recently. Something just feels off. The proportions I guess. Pity because otherwise it'd be pretty much the perfect beater with proper looks, too. But not with this height to thickness ratio :( I've never been a fan of the slightly overhyped SKX, but the proportions on that one are just sooo pleasing to the eye (Yup, on the seamster, too - but thats sadly in a different league)

I love the Citizen quality, but why if compared to the Seiko Prospex PADI SNE 575 (38mm) ? - Sapphire crystal - Same Solar Power movement - 20 mm lug width strap - 46 mm lug to lug - 120 click rotation bezel - drill lug hole (for easy changed strap) - Price around US $ 335 The comparison would be more apple to apple.

@@GadgetsforGentlemen Oke maybe next time. Please compare the Quartz/Solar movement watch with Quartz/Solar watch too. Unfortunately Citizen still do not have automatic/mechanical Diver watch. Citizen Promaster NY0040 FUGU is the smallest diver watch with 40mm diameter.

I love small watches..but rhis is too small. The best size is 38 39 for a diver.

A nice watch, however, I'd say the BN0150 range is the bigger brother, sharing the same E168 eco drive movement and a 44mm case size. I'll be interested to see the featured watch in the metal. Shame the 20mm lugs weren't retained.

Very true, but most people you meet won't know and frankly even if they did i dont care because I like it on my thin man wrist.

Why do they put it in a bottle that has no use after you take the watch out. Citizen wake up ! Put them in a water bottle ,not a useless waste of single use plastic 😢

I am 186cm tall and 90kg and i prefer a smaller dive watch so it doesnt get in the way as a backup

ik heb hem net besteld morgen in huis hopelijk .....ik heb de blauwe gedaan met de knop rechts... ik vind de afmeting heel goed.. ik heb 210 betaald .. mineraal glas kan beter met duiken daarom denk ik dat ze het hebben gadaan .....
