All of those excellent upgrades to the show without any of the terrible decisions that altered the Disneyland show. I think I like it! Yet the Maleficent dragon is still a joke. Guess we can't have everything.

I didn’t know fantasmic at DL was hated…? The projection mapping and lighting upgrades were phenomenal and I genuinely liked most of the new segments

Oh I certainly don’t hate Disneyland’s F!, but the editing of the music and the addition of the POTC segment are two of my biggest gripes.

The only problem is that they ruined the finale with the smaller pyro even the comets were smaller

I think you hated that they got somebody sing the soundtrack and not use the original singers like in this one.

Does the ending have less fireworks/pyro or is it just me? I saw it live for the first time last week and the ending didnt shake me as hard as it does on youtube😭🤧

It's an amazing show, but it still feels like something is missing. Disneyland did it better imo

@@toyaliens I have not seen the one at Disneyland in many years. I always thought the one at DL had a lot of magic to it since it was "Hiding in plain sight" all day. Since the last time I've seen the DL version was over 15 years ago, I don't know how it has changed. I always like the idea that most people didn't even know they were walking on, in and around the show all day.

Not at all. This lacks a whole lot. No new dragon. Those bubble scenes are trash. The only good hero scenes were Elsa and Moana. The lights, lasers, new water affects were the only good thing about the upgrade. But this is Fantasmic 1.5 for sure. Disneyland still has the more superior one

@@TyrellDunn this wasn’t meant to be a fantasmic 2.0 they never named it that, they were never planning on changing it to the extent that Disneyland California did, people shouldn’t have been expecting more than some new lights and the new scene since it was never meant to be more than that. And they can’t have the same dragon as California because they can’t dig as deep as California because there is stuff under the stage

@@toyaliens DL Fantasmic is still better, but the DHS version is certainly improved.

Oooooh so this is where our awesome original California fantasmic soundtrack went… and we got the horrible newer version with horrible vocals…
