Thank you for watching my video of Disneyland’s new “Fantasmic!” Despite the lack of a dragon, I still believe this is one of the best nighttime spectaculars you can experience at Disneyland, today. Let me know what you think about the new show, in a comment below! Now, here's a list of all the changes I've found from the previous version 2.0... 1. Changed pre-show lighting 2. No projections/lasers prior to Mickey’s appearance 3. Mickey appears later 4. White spotlights/no multicolor spots during intro 5. Changed intro projections and no laser effects during intro 6. Changed fountain color, fountain effects, and choreo during intro 7. Changed magic broomstick projections and fountain color 8. Changed fountain color when flower appears 9. No projections when flower appears 10. Flower remains on stage with Kaa 11. Monkey barge torches not lit 12. Changed fountain effect between Jungle Book and heffalumps 13. Changed projections immediately before heffalumps 14. Changed laser effects during heffalumps 15. Changed fountain effects during Genie 16. Changed Pinocchio projections 17. Changed laser effects prior to Peter Pan sequence 18. Peter Pan instead of Pirates of the Caribbean 19. Slight changes to music after Peter Pan sequence 20. Changed projections before princess sequence 21. No flying carpet during Aladdin sequence 22. Changes to projections during Aladdin sequence 23. Changed fountain effects during princess sequence 24. Changed lighting effects during Rapunzel sequence 25. Changed lighting effects during Hag sequence 26. Additional pyro during Hag sequence 27. Changed pyro before Maleficent sequence 28. Changed Maleficent scene choreo, projections, pyro, lighting 29. New Maleficent staff 30. No dragon 31. New flame effects 32. New Mickey fight scene choreo 33. Changed fountain colors, new lighting, and laser effects after fight scene 34. Changed Tinker Bell laser effects 35. Changed fountain effects before Mark Twain sequence 36. Changed fountain colors and effects during Mark Twain sequence 37. No more multicolor spots on Mark Twain 38. Changed lighting, laser, projections, and pyro effects during finale 39. One that you did miss was the Tangled Sequence. At the beginning of that one, the towers do rise up during the song, which i thought was a nice added effect! Also, Fountain light colors during the villains defeat projections were also different! Honestly, I didn't even notice how many effects they changed during the show! Lot of them went completely over my head while watching it.

@@DylanPix probably because they felt to fit some of the new scenes that were based on the Tokyo DisneySea version of Fantasmic that ended in 2020.

11:46 this is the first time I have EVER noticed the lost boys on the ship. Amazing attention to detail Disney

I hadn’t seen this show In years so when I saw it at Disney in person a few days ago it hit me but I am a bit sad that they took out the dragon but this show and the world of color is by far the best shows ❤

Fantasmic and World of Color (the original version) are my two favorite Disney nighttime shows. Also, rumor has it that the dragon is being rebuilt as we speak, so don't be too sad! Thanks for watching!

We got to see Fantasmic and the Pixar fest fireworks show on the 19th. It was PHENOMENAL 😍 we could only afford one day in disneyland but it was a magical & very fun day for sure ✨️ 😊

I’ve noticed! I’ve seen a lot of people online saying that they like the 2.0 head better…

When the flower first appears, it has a outer circle of petals and an inner circle as well, but after the break between when it first appears and to the snake part, the inner circle of the flower is gone… are they using some of the petal people for the snake?

@@johnmarkfrederick8245 This may be an unpopular opinion, but I will always prefer Disneyland’s Fantasmic over WDW’s. I think the intro and finale is better, the stunts are better, and the use of the Columbia and Mark Twain is epic. I understand why people like WDW’s though. Also, rumor has it that the dragon is being rebuilt as we speak.

I knew it would fail, called it out months ago for the no dragon scenario. No safe flame proof dragon after a year? Frankly I find that insulting to the fans.

Given that the options were probably to have no show at all, or a show with no dragon, I think they’d rather choose the latter. I wouldn’t call it a fail… I still think it’s a good show, and I think most would agree. I also think that it takes more than a year to repair all of the damage the fire caused, make sure everything is safe, program and design all of the new/changed effects in the show, cast the show, and rehearse the show. Also, don’t be too disappointed, because the current rumor is that a new dragon is being built outside of the U.S. :) Thanks for watching!
