Disney's Fantasia was originally animated to existing pieces. I have taken the original audio out and scored my own composition to the animation. I have never heard the original piece before or during my composition to the animation. Please leave your feedback.

That was actually pretty good. Especially how it doesn't incorporate dialogue for the means of what's happening.

Walt Disney must have felt a lot like Mickey in this scene when he was working on Fantasia. But then, just like Mickey, he woke up to find the dream falling apart all around him.
Fantasia is sure is a movie.
This clip is just amazing!

You might want to give it a different title if it's not the original scene & audio from Fantasia as the title & thumbnail imply.

This scene rules. In fact, I’m going to 👗 up as Mickey 🐁 as The Sorcerer’s Apprentice for Halloween 2019.
So you never saw fantasia before making this score. Uhm You should have. It’s a masterpiece, and you should listen to before attempting to compose anything!

Years ago I found a reinterpretation of this that someone did for college. The music was indescribably inspiring powerful like trance music.....I have not heard it in at least 6 years. Can someone please help me find this to share with my students...they are my Chemistry students but in AP Music Theory...I will find it and share even if it takes me my whole fucking life...it was PURE POTENCY!!

You know The Chain⛓ by Fleetwood Mac 💻 would fit The Sorcerer’s Apprentice in this clip twice to make it cooler what do you all think 🧐 of that huh 🤔

What the crap is that?
Boo! Hiss! Doing this is simply crummy. You don't screw with an iconic and brilliant piece of animation art that many people worked really hard at making in 1940; you don't replace a wonderful piece of orchestral music with your own stuff. This idea was disrespectful and selfish. Oh, and change the damn video title to include the words "amateur soundtrack re-score". Why not create something original, instead of altering an already existing classic!

@@jertywill it's not hate, it's passionately calling someone out on a dumb choice. I am criticizing something. so tired of people tampering with art ....and it never occurs to them that "just b/c I *can* doesn't mean I should do it" Also: there are people searching YT for this particular scene from the movie and will believe this is the orig footage and score--- which it is not. That ain't right, but it will sure get views. tsk tsk tsk
